"Heh... see, i do plan ahead..."

 

He laughed. "Humans are indeed intersting." He said while eating

 

"Heh... we're alot more than interesting... We're vile creatures... every single last one of us, none of us are truly inocent and have destroyed someone elses lives before... no 'ifs' 'what's' or 'but's' about it."

 

"The same thing goes to all other living beings. Even non-iving things like me."

 

"But humans do it to a different extent. Haven't you noticed it, Ryuk? you worked with Light Yagami, whom, according to police documents was the first Kira... if this is true you should understand my perspective on things..."

 

"He was an intersting one. Wanted to create a new world where only the kind may live and crime shall purish."

 

"So long as humans exist there will be crime. The one error in his vision..."

 

He laughed. "A vision that was so close to reality. That was some way to waste boredem."

 

"Heh... true... but there were multiple errors in Light Yagami's plan... he got cocky, left things open, and over-all alowwed himself to be caught..."

 

"Sir..." Lana mumbled quitely, her voice still weak and close to breaking point. But this time there were an additional shudder to her practicaly silent tone. As though there was something just beneath the surface she wasn't willing to let on.

 

"Yep."

"Yeah?"

 

"You're kinda... umm... Seriously pushing against my back now." She whinced, the pain had been bugging her for a little while but she'd chosen to ignore it. She rather be in pain with him embracing her then not in pain on her own. However now it had gone past a irritating uncomfort to a full blown shoot, stabbing agony.

 

"Sorry" he said letting go

 

"It's alright..." She sighed "Stupid bullet..." Lana added quietly to herself. "Thanks Near..."

"Don't mention it. For real. I never hugged someone before." He said sitting back down in his seat unable to look in her eyes at the moment

Lana smiled at him through her pain. Once again he'd surprised her with just how bizzarley sweet he could be at times. So, he's never hugged anyone before? That's... very unusual... I mean he's like, twenty-one I think. But that's completly besides the point. Then as her eyes drifted over him she realised that he wasn't looking at her as he spoke, his heavily shadowed eyes seemed unable to cast even a single glimpse of her.

He looked around the room now as he thought of something to say. "Do you need anything?"

 

"No, I'm alright... Just a case of time now I guess..." She sighed sadly, resting her head back onto her knees. Smiling slightly still as her tears continued to fall on their own. Lana didn't even feel aware of any erdge to cry, it was just happening.

 

"Like I said, you'll be fine."
