"I'm what?" Lana asked, snapping out from her darkened thoughts. Looking straight over at him, after that small statement at the end she was rather intriuged as to what he was going to say.

 

"You're....Um. Imporant to me...." He said trying to get the right words and speaking carefully

 

"Important..." Lana repeated to herself in little more then tiny movements of her lips, a small smile slowly spreading across them. The word on it's own ment so little, but coming from him it ment the world to her.

 

"I want to thank you.... For caring."

 

"Well, I'd be a bit of a heartless b*tch not to care." She said with a slight light-hearted laugh. "Because... Well... You're certainly one of the people I've been the closest to..." Maybe the closest too. It's hard to tell or remember. She added inside her mind.

 

"I'm glad to hear that."

 

"Glad you're glad to hear it."

 

He smiled at her comment

 

Lana went to brush her hair from her face with her right arm, but there was a delay in the movement and she ended up hitting herself in the eye with one of the rings she had on her fingers. Cursing loudly as it made impact, but soon quieting down as she rubbed her reddening eye. Still muttering incoherantly under her breath.

 

He looked up at her. "Are you okay?"

 

"Yeah, I'm fine... Hit myself in the eye." She giggled "God, I'm so freakin' clumsy."

 

He sighed and then smiled. "I see."

 

"Seriously... I must be only person in existence that could manage that." She snickered.

 

"You'll be suripsed to know that you're not the only one."

 

"I know, just being a drama queen." Lana smiled, finally managing to sweep the hair from her damp face.

 

"I have no comment on that."

 

"Always a drama queen then?" She asked with a small giggle.

 

"Most of the time anyway."

 

"Ahh, most of the time." She smiled. "I thought it was always."

 

"There are times when you're not."
