"Why not?" She asked as she laid on the spare bed with her head hanging off the side and she looked at her nails

 

"Like who exacltY?" Mellody asked following Near.

 

"An old friend."

 

"Just tell me who..."

 

"Bossy much? I am talking about Mello."

 

"Oh... him... why do i remind you of him?"

 

"Many reason. Not only do you look like him but think like him also."

 

"I see... so unlike you he actually got things done?!?!"

 

"Well, I've got a board meeting to handle here actually. I mean, unless you have a good reason, I would prefer it if I didn't have to go to" he said

"You're really worried about her aren't you?"

"More so than not..."

 

He sighed again "I blame myself and she blames herself."

 

"What happened between you two?"

 

"Nothing really...She works for me."

 

"There's more than that." Mellody persisted.
