He sighed of reilef Finally someone who doesn't want to force feed me... He thought then went to his room, sat in the middle of the floor in his normal stting pistion, and turned on his laptop and started to type on it

 

OOC- Near is a cat fight fan. O_o rofl ever saw that one coming. XD

"Right." Lana started, slamming the door shut behind her as she followed Mellody out of the corridor. "Why the hell would you lie to me about that!?"

 

"About what?"

 

"Well, either you're lying about Near completley ignoring me once I was in hospital. Or you're lying through your teeth about him not getting anything done because of it. And if you don't f*cking tell me now I'll f*cking shoot you. And don't think for one second I wouldn't, because I so would." Lana explained, her voice slowy slipping from a calm and collected tone to a slightly crazed and threatening one. Her eyes narrowing, and if it had been a television show you would of been certain that her eyes would of glowed the deep red of anger.

 

"I never said he didn't get anything done BECAUSE you were in hospital..." Mellody reminded pelasently. "And if it makes you feel better, he didn't stop thinking about you while you werei n hospital... now if you feel any better why don't you go ask him out?"

 

"You implied it." She snarled before a subtley condecending and snearing smile spread over her delicate features. "Don't think I don't know your game. I used to play it, and I was far better at it then you Rookie. Trying to get me to embarrase myself, well it won't work. Because I have no intention of doing that, why would I when his my boss. He ain't even my type Sweetie."

 

"Yet you look at him with such longing?" Mellody taunted. "And if you want proof he likes you, i can get it to you by tommorow..."

 

"As if, he's my boss. I admire him, that's certain. But I don't adore him like that." Lana sighed, folding her arms defensively. Wondering if she was really that obvious, did she make it that plain to see? Mellody had barley seen her around Near. And she didn't exactly rabbit on about him for long periods of time. Or at least, she didn't think she did. The two of them had barley spoken, and he'd only been a passing topic. "And proof of what? Your little lie? Don't waste your time darling."

 

"Right, you look at him in admiration do you?" Mellody continued to taunt. "And if that's your attitude then you can forget about your proof. And if you're gonna insult me... at least make it worth my time."

 

"Yeah, I used that line on you earlier pet." Lana smirked "Deja vu. And it'd prob'ley be something pathetic knowing you. Some voice changed recording or a photoshopped image."

 

"Whatever." Mellody shrugged walking off and waving as she did so. "I guess you aren't really worth Near anyway."

 

Well... That's obvious. That's why I'm lying about this... She thought sadly. Trying her best not to drop her head, or show any sign of weakness caused by that statement. Feeling the warm sting of sharp tears welling up. Quickly looking upwards to stop them falling in a shower of self-pity.

 

Mellody smiled, looking around slightly, slipping her phone out of her pocket and taking a picture...

 

"What was that?" Lana asked quickly, having heard the gentle clack of the buttons and the snap of the lense, also just about catching a glimpse of the metal outer case of the phone.

 

"Nothing for you to worry about, dear." Mellody taunted going to walk off again.

 

"You took a photo! Didn't you? What the hell is that picture gonna prove to you huh? Or are you just gathering stuff for your happy slapper collection?" Lana asked venomously. Her eyes narrowing once again as she followed after her.

 

"It's not gonna prove anything sweetie" Mellody continued to taunt, speeding up slightly.

 

"Then why take it!?" She asked, grabbing tightly hold of the wrist of the hand she had the cell phone clasped in. "Just delete it if it's not important!"

 

Mellody tugged her arm away from Lana. "Never touch me again!"

 

"Then delete the picture or you fight just find that I've touched you again. Mainly my nails hitting the side of your face, you're such a Mello wannabe maybe you want a face scar too?"
