"We're getting a medical team down here any second so I wouldn't worry about that, too much." Lana explained.

"Alright then. I simply won't say it again then." Blondie said dismissively.

 

"Good..." He muttered.

Near stopped playing with his hair and stood up

 

"Where is he with them anyway?..." L muttereed to herself, wondering where he'd gone off too.

 

"Could you go get the medical team. Any longer and he'll die from loss of blood."

 

"Yeah, I'll go call them..." Lana agreed, nodding before turning away and activating her headset. Muttering a few words into the microphone before saying her thanks and turning back to the rest of the room. "They're on their way."

 

"Good." He nodded, looking at the blood.

 

"You alright?" She asked quietly, hoping that Akito wouldn't hear them and think that, should something be wrong, it was a sign of weakness.

 

"Yeah..." He said quietly back and shook his head before turning his head so that he couldn't see the blood and she couldn't see his face

 

"You don't look it..." Lana sighed as the medical team came in. "You know... Come with me a moment." She said, nodding her head towards the door. Hoping she'd be able to get him to talk away from Akito and the other SPKs who'd just arrived."These guys have a fair bit of damage control to do here. Best not to get in the way."

 

He nodded and left the room.

 

Lana followed him out and quietly shut the door behind herself as she too left the room. "You certain nothing's wrong?"

 

"I'm fine."

 

"You don't seem it..."

 

"The blood....Normal I'm fine with it but this time...."

 

"It's just getting to you?" She suggested.

 

"I was ingoring it until now." He leaned against the wall

 

"What do you think changed it? Or you just having a bad day?"

 

"Just a bad day I think."

 

"Right." Lana nodded, not entirley sure if she believed him.

 

"Your voice souds... like you don't believe me."
