"Why do you think he's gonna say something?" Mellody asked looking over at her. "look at his face!"

 

"Fine, he looks worried. So what?"

 

Mellody looked at her blankly. "Are you a heartless b*tch or something? look at how sad he is!"

 

"Yeah... I guess he does..." She mumbled, shuffling her feet slightly."But I still don't see how this has anything to do with..."

Mellody looked at her dumbly. "He's like that because your in hospital!"

"Well dur! But that doesn't prove anything... Or at least not what you're saying..."
But it is a good point... But, but I can let myself believe this. He's dying, I could die at any point too what with the case. All it'd do is hurt us both in the end. And I don't know if I could take anymore, and I certainly don't want him upset... That's the last thing...

 

"Shall i continue?"

 

"Fine... whatever..." Lana sighed, no longer able to look at the television set the guilt was becoming so overwhelming.

 

"This next one you should know well..." Mellody explained taking a tape from the pile again. "I had to con the SPK to give it to me..."

 

"Let me guess, cake fight or something else like that?"

"Correct..." Mellody agreed, sitting down next to her again.

 

"I was there? What is there to show me from that?"

"Nothing really..." Mellody sighed. "But look at ho close you two were? you's were practically a couple there and then!"

ooc: oh fudge nuggets. RA isn't on for 3 days straight, and now every time I come on, you are either not here, or you're leaving. GRAAAAA

bic: Matt gave Blondie a strange look. "I don't know what kind of crack you've been smoken, but when ya get the chance, get me a hold of some" matt said, thinking that she must be high. "Now that I'm finally up, we can get straight to buissness. When exsactly do you expect to be leaving for the SPK HQ" he asked her

 

"Yeah, we are pretty close..." Lana agreed as she watched, a faint smile on her face. It'd been fun, really bizzare, but a lot of fun. Though, it'd also been kinda a waste of good cake. Even if she had knocked it all over the floor beforehand. Even Near, who had the abillity to seem so emotionless looked as though he was having a laugh.

"Hey, I'm not high." Blondie sighed, folding the book over and holding the place between her fingers "And when it's not like 2am. I'm heading out around 7 am. It'll take me an hour or so, so I'll be there for 8. But it'll take me an hour or so for security reasons. So around 9am. Which doesn't make me seem suspiciosly egar either."

 

"Close huh...?" Mellody started but decided to stop. "Anyway, do you want to see more, or do you want to leave with a smile on your face and come back again later on?"

 

"No, carry on. I want to see what else you've got. I don't know when I'll get another evening off. And I feel kinda bad about leaving tonight anyway..."
