"You make me seem really rather dull at times."

 

Mellody shrugged. "You're stories mroe tragic, mine's more... blow things up?" Mellody giggled.

 

"Oh yeah, story of my life: 'Tragedy'." Lana laughed, doing the appropriate hand gestures for the lyrics of a old song from the ninties..

 

Mellody smiled, shaking her head slightly.

 

"I know, old joke." She giggled. "Something I just have to do, one reason no one belives I'm a Oxford Student when I tell them that. The MI6 guy nearly p*ssed his pants laughing."

 

Mellody simply smiled trying to calm down slightly.

 

"You sure you're alright?"

 

Mellody nodded. "Will you stop asking that already?" Mellody asked impassively. "I just haven't had this much fun in ages..."

 

"You know, me either." She smiled. "Though I imagine mine was slightly closer to now then your's was."

 

"Yeah.." Mellody agreed a little sadly. "But hey, we gotta catch Kira, so there's no point dwelling in the past is there?!"

 

"Well, I'd say that we need to make sure we use the past for referance. May be the only help we can get seeing as that was the only case like this before then."

 

"True..." Mellody sighed in agreement looking away slightly.

 

"You're really not alright are you? What's wrong pet?" Lana asked, sitting down next to her.

 

"Nothing." Mello defied. "And don't call me pet... or i'll tickle you..."

 

"Sorry, ain't my fault I spent a few years in Yorkshire." Lana smiled "And something's bugging you."

 

"It's your imagination..." Mellody taunted poking Lana lightly.

 

"Is not." She laughed, poking her back. "Something's up."

 

"It's nothing..." Mellody insisted again. "I'm just thinking that's all."

 

"Ah, very dangerous is this thinking business. Makes you do and feel all kinds of dumba** stuff."

 

Mellody smiled at her. "Well, i'm thirsty, you want something?"
