Return of Kira

"Glass of water or something'd be great." She smiled graciously.

 

"Okay" Mellody nodded gettting up and walking off to the kitchen.
"Let's see..." Mellody muttered to herself going through her glasses. "Which one? oh this one!"

Mellody sighed as she felt the glass get a little heavier, a silent tear freely rolling down her cheeck as she looked over at her and Dein's pic. This is stupid! she told herself wiping the tear away and walking back to Lana.

 

"You're not alright." Lana sighed in a sing-song voice. "I deal with Near on a day-to-day basis, I can tell when someone is trying their best to not talk about something that's bugging them."

 

Mellody shrugged the question off, and offered her the glass of water. "Speaking of which... how's the Kira case coming?"

 

"It's going alright. We got hold of one of Kira's inner circle. The boy, but that's all really. He hasn't said to much, only say that Laya was Kira. But that's not enough to say "Yes it's her."..."

 

"Huh... too bad..." Mellody sighed sitting down. "I wonder..."

 

"Wonder what?" She asked, taking a sip of the cool water.

 

"Shall we do things..." Mellody started. "My way?"

 

OOC- *Tries to hum out perverted thoughts from that statment*

"You mean blow everything up? That doesn't always work out for the best you know."

"You know..." Mellody joked. "In the end, blowing sh*t up is justified!"

"Oh yes, Monique Jones; Blowing sh*t up in style. Regular female Mello."

 

Mellody blushed lightly at the praise but continued her cheeky smile. "Who said anyhting about style? i like to blow sh*t up with class..."

 

"And you say that wearing that much leather? Please, style you can have. Class is reserved for those who wear flexable fabrics." She laughed "And you're like... Blushing!"

 

Mellody smiled at her happily, trying to hide her blush. "Well, how about you? what's your way of doing things?"

 

"My way?" Lana asked, laying back in the seat a little "My way is a little more relaxed, and much more unpredicatable. I'm more: might save your life, might shot you dead. Depends how the mood takes me and who it is. And you are sooo red right now, you make strawberry's seem blue."

 

"Leave me alone" Mellody sighed playfully pushing her.

 

"Hey, no pushy until the staple are out." Lana laughed, pushing Mellody back. "Seriously, I dunno when I last saw someone blush like that."

 

"About an hour ago, when you were." Mellody laughed.

 

Lana laughed slightly louder then before and smirked "And we both know why that was, don't we? So, who is he/she/it?"

 

Mellody bit her lip. "It was... he was killed by Kira..."
