Mellody smiled softly to herself. "Yeah... yeah he was..."

 

Lana laughed softley to herself. Not exactly the uber-b*tch I thought she was really.
"You really liked him huh?"

 

Mellody smiled at her. "Definetly."

 

"So who was he? Anyone interesting?"

 

"You'd know him..." Mellody explained blushing deeply and trying to hide her face behind her knees.

 

"I would would I? Ooh, sounds interesting. Come on spill! Who was he? Whose this mystery guy who can still make you blush like a eleven year old being told their pretty?"

 

"I-it's no one important!" Mellody stuttered brushing Lana off.

 

"Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on! Come ooonnn!" Lana laughed "Come on, who? Who? I'll bug you about this forever unless you do."

 

"It was..." Mellody started, blushing a little deeper still. "Mell...mel..."

 

"Mello!?" Lana exclaimed "No way! Seriously! Oh my god!"

 

Mellody nodded shyly, smilng weakly. "That's why i took the name 'Mellody'..."

 

"Wow... Just wow... You and him... And it was when... Oh my god."

 

"Yeah..." Mellody sighed in agreement, fighting back tears again. "But it's in the past and he wouldn't dwell on it!"

 

"You certain about that hun?" Lana asked kindly, placing her hand on Mellody's shoulder and squeezing gently as a show of support. "It doesn't seem to me you've held onto it enough for you to grieve properley..."

 

Mellody smiled softly. "I just don't want to disapoint him..."

 

"I'm sure you couldn't disapoint him, not if he was even half the man you act like he was. And I don't think you'd be a disapointment to anyone else either. You're so strong, you know? If I'd of been in your possition it would of killed me. And you're so independant, and you're so amazingly, and don't take this as me hitting on you or nothing;" Lana smiled "But you are so unbelieveably sexy without even trying. That's more then most of us can even dream for. If any guy could even think of being disapointed in you then they weren't worth a fraction of the time you spent with them."

 

"Thanks..." Melloy smiled back at her, letting some tears openly rol down her cheeks. "You know... now i think i'm starting to see why Near fell for you..."

 

"Ah, that, should it be true, which I still doubt it is, would be because he may be a geunious but he ain't that smart." Lana laughed.

 

Mellody giggled lightly, wiping away her tears. "we should probably get some rest..."
