He finally found his laptop and picked it up

 

Mellody also smiled. "You know, maybe we're more alike then i though... let's get moving..."

 

OOC- PHEAR THE TAG TEAM OF DOOM NEAR! >D *ish hyper*

"Let's get going." She said, gesturing into the buliding. Running towards the doors, and as usual when she attempted to do it, didn't slam into the doors. But rather got through then slipped up on her ends of her jeans. Skidded slightly before tripping and smacking into the floor with a thump. "I really need to stop doing this stuff..."

 

"You okay?" Mellody asked running over to her...

 

"I'm fine, just a little brusied around my ribs again I think. Damn I've been falling down a lot recently. Though I'm guessing you saw both the recent ones anyway."

 

"Yeah..." Mellody smiled offering her a hand. "Let's go help Near..."

 

"I get the feeling you're only in this because you want an excuse to force someone into something." She laughed grabbing her hand and pulled her miniscule wight up off the floor with Mellody's help.

 

Near sighed knowing they were back when he heard the 'thump' and was now back in the computer room putting his laptop on the desk and was now sitting down trying to fix his train

 

"Anyway, lets go." Lana sighed, ignoring the looks from the odd person who had seen her impact with the floor. These days when a loud crash was heard in the SPK buliding no one thought: What on earth was that? They slap their hands to their forhead and think: What's L done now? It was certainly an interesting reputation to have. But not really one you'd want. Shaking her head in disbelief with herself as she walked towards the computer room. Quietly opening the door and looking around it.

Near looked at her breifly before looking back at the train track in his hand "Can't fix it..."

 

"What do you see?" Mellody whispered.

 

"He's having trouble with the trainset you busted up." Lana replied quietly "Maybe you should take it to a professional or something?" She asked, walking over to him. "Trainsets must get stood on a fair bit in their time."

 

"Yeah... So what do you want?"

 

"Boring at home really." She shrugged, whincing slightly. Sitting down on the edge of the table he was working at. "And you alright? Because you don't really tend to drop things like that."

 

"I'm just fine."

"Have you eaten at all today? Or slept recently?" Lana asked suspiciously, raising an eyebrow. "And don't lie to me. I want the truth. Don't try and work your way out of trouble because it just won't work." She'd decided on getting straight to the point, Mellody was right, Near knew that she wouldn't actually force him into eating or sleeping. She'd nag him about it, tell him to, demand that he did and even try barganing. But she'd never force him. But it was about time she did start forcing him to, even if it ment being the bad guy in his eyes for a while. It was for his good, and that was what she wanted. She wanted him to be healthy and, ulimatley, to live. Although as he hadn't said much about what it was that was making him so sick she had no idea if this would help. But if nothing else there was the chance, and if he kept going the way he was that chance was no where in sight, she had to be more active in this. Even though she really didn't like the idea of what she may or may not have to do to get him to take care of himself.

 

Benedict walked up to Lana and said, "Since when were you his mother?"

 

"I'm not being his mother. I'm being serious, I want to know because; Near,"She replied, looking slightly annoyed by the comment that she was mothering him before looking to face Near "You have really got to start taking care of yourself love. And it's something you can't afford to skip off on. You know what I'm going to say, but I'm gonna say it anyway; I don't want you going anywhere anytime soon. And the more you run yourself into the ground the more that's going to happen."

 

"Heh, so now you're Dr. Phil?" Benedict asked being sort of a jerk.

 

"No, I'm just someone whose had more then her fair share of seeing the people she's cared about get hurt or die." She said, narrowing her eyes dangerously at B. Lana was more then ready to take a swing at anyone at that moment, as much as she liked Mellody now the whole having to sit through hours of Near looking pained and upset had left her with so much resentment there was the chance of her yelling at just about anyone who got in her face.
