"There's no reason why not." L said kindly trying to catch his eye so he'd look back up.

 

He sighed "Looks like you wont leave me alone, huh?" He looked back at her

 

"Nope. I don't give up, you should know that by now." she laughed

 

He sighed "You win....again"

 

"Seriously though, if you're that unomfortable with it you don't have to. It won't be any fun for either of us if you're going to sulk for the rest of the day."

 

"I'm always sulkly"

 

"Well, sulkier then."

 

"Not really....I was thinking about going outside...sometime" He plaied with his hair and looked to the side

 

"I'm not going to force you if you really don't want to, at least not today."

 

"Not today?"

 

"I'm not going to force you to do anything you don't want to on your birthday. Yours and mine next day off though..." She smirked

 

"Which wont be for long you know....or did I forget somebodies brithday or something?" He sighed "Lead the way"

 

"Your certain?"

 

"Like I say...never know till we try"

 

"Right then." She smirked clapping her hands together "Let's go."

 

He walked back down the stairs

 

"Any ideas on where you want to go?"

 

"It was your idea"

 

"My version of a day out is to go get chucked out of bars for trying to drink." She laughed quietly "You prob'ley have a different idea of fun."

 

"I do....but now that am 21...cant I drink? I never had some before...."
