Return of Kira

He played with his hair "Too bad I'm not a doctor huh?"

 

"Hmmm..." She nodded sadly, brushing some of her long black behind her left ear as it fell down covering her downwards looking face.

 

"There's no need to be upset. After I am your boss"

 

"Yeah.. but you're my mate too..." she mumbled.

 

He stopped playing with his hair "Mate?"

 

"Yeah... You're my friend... Thought you knew that..."

 

"Asked you before and you said sometimes I am your friend but others I am your boss"

 

"Yeah... And this is one of the times you're more my friend... Really it depends if you're yelling at me or not." She laughed feably.

 

He smiled "Sorry if I yell at you. I dont reallt notice that I do it at first"

 

She smiled back "I deserve it."

 

"Well if you say so I wont fight with you"

 

L smiled again as she brushed the hair back behind her ear. It'd slowly slid back down the side of her face as thethey'd been talking.

 

He blinked a couple of time s and looked at a computer screen

 

Well... This is awkward...

"This all you do? Sit and wait for everyone else?" L asked trying to break the silence.

 

"Pretty much. Its not like I got something better to do. If you're bored you can go"

 

"Pretty good job, no one actively trying to shoot you." L laughed nervously "Anyway, can't do anything can I?" she added pointing to her arm.

 

"Nothng that I can think of" he said standing up

 

"Yeah... Lucky it wasn't my left arm or I'd be completely screwed."

 

"Left handed?"

 

"Yeah, luckily. Must of been the only good luck I've ever had."
