Comic book char, he got sniped is perm dead. This happend right after the civil war event.

He was an Avenger and also in S.H.I.E.L.D. I don't think he actually had any real specific superpowers, he was the ultimate human. So the shield didn't save him this time?

@gharanth S.H.I.E.L.D made the super serum(sp?) that gave him super strangth and speed and all that stuff so yeah he did have powers i think.

It made him the ultimate man, but he couldn't fly or anything. The 'Super Soldier Serum' made him up to maximum ability and capability for a human, making him the ultimate man and increased his physiology. He was also an expert in many martial arts, so could take down more powerful foes. The shield was of indestructible alloy, lightweight and usable as a weapon as well.

Not really, he was up against super villains with major superpowers. He often fought with cunning and skill rather than strength. Often they were tougher than him.

 

Although i really like Captain A. he is not as great as Spiderman or Ironman.
Anyway, i thought Captain was dead for years because as far as i know he has been replaced.

 

Finally the old guy died.
