NightShade grinned. "Ahh.. Bedtime stories. Yes the vampires only bow down to one - Zaries. He was marvelous, giving birth to us gifted children of night and lending his anger into our bloodlust." She stood up and put her hands on her hips. "Pfft. The wench is only telling the nicey-nicey side of the story, one that everyone likes to hear that shows Vampires as evil."

 

"I am hearing merrily a story. I do know I am hearing not the whole thing. Stories are but a mere game that when one generation gets it, it is mistold, and mistold again through generations. Zaries... If he was to help in creating the world we live in, then his children are not beasts, but mere children that need to learn and grow just like us werewolves." Mage smiled with a slight smirk.

 

"That is right, we keep balance between the people, the vampires back then had no control to what they were doing at the time. The White Wolf had no choice but to lock them out." Lina said after

All Lina did was smile, "Well you see, that is all I know, I learned part of the story from the Darkness Mage. He has been the Oldest Mage and one of the first Mages of the Moon still left, but we haven't seen him in a very long time."

"Mages of the Moon?" Jordan asked Lina as he took all the knowledge in.

"A Secret Order that the Gods created as aback up if the White Wolf ever died. It was founded Hundred of years ago after the Vampires were imprisioned out of The Land, but some died during the Battle when the Vampires broke the shield. Thats when me and Fendori became the New Mages of Fire and Light.....and also the day when the White Wolf was killed...by that Acursed Blade, that Evil King carried!" Tears formed in her eyes but she wiped them away.

Jordan felt a tingle in his heart while looking at the Women, then it subsided.

"I learned that same lesson from one of the other Mages. She had a way with words, and also maded a very good Blueberry pie!!" Lina laughed trying to make the place a little happier. "But I haven't seen her since the Battle of Revenge, but since a New Mage hasn't been chosen, she must still be alive, hiding from the world."

 

".... Who was this that had said it? And what makes you think there isn't another Mage of that element that has taken over and yet is hiding?" Mage smirked.

 

Because, if that was the case, we would have found that mage by now Fendori's eyes burned with rage. It doesn't matter what is mistold through the ages, he was there. All that fighting and blood.

 

"... Keep a level head, Mage of Fire." Mage said smoothly, calm. "I know you must be feeling hate towards the time you fought, but that was the past, put it behind you, like a shadow. It will always be there, but you can always choose not to look."

 

It isn't anger Fendori snapped It is the matter of urgency. If we don't hurry, the balance will forever be destroyed.

 

"..." Mage started laughing. "What balance? There is none! In all the years of the world there was never balance! Admit it feeble Mage!" Mage continued laughing, Parma looked at her with some concern showing.

 

Perhaps not in your life time. Fendori replied softly.

 

Thane found himself in a back room of his castle. It was his private lab and pieces of equipment filled every inch of space available. It was true that Thane had people below him that did most of this kind of work but since he always viewed himself as above them he figured he could make his best stuff alone. There was truthfully nothing here that he needed done now, Most of his projects were just to store and condense blood. He simply didn't want to leave until closer to night fall. It wasn't that vampires couldn't be in sunlight, but it seemed engrained in most of them to hate it. In that situation it was often easy for one to misjudge something or just become more agitated.

 

"... I have researched this world, Mage of Embers. I know that balance is but an illusion we people must look at in order to live and not go mad." Mage smiled with a slight smirk.

 

For shame, child. You truly have no idea of what you speak.

 

"What Fendori means by Balance is peace, young wolf." Lina said to Mage as she got up next to Fendori. "Now Jordan, before the White Wolf died he casted a lost spell that would remake him and make his powers more powerful then before. He knew he wouldn't be in control when he was but he wanted to be there with you to help you, and guide you." She paused as she looked at him. "Jordan, as the new White Wolf you must learn to control the Elements again. You shall start with Fendori in one hour from now. Be ready by then." Lina turned to the left stone door, opened it and went in, closing the door behind her.

"Wow..." Jordan dropped to the floor on one knee. "This is to much..." He said relizing all that was happening.

 

"A shame to you, Mage of Dying Ashes." Mage chuckled. "Maybe the Gods speak to me in ways I don't even know."

 

That is merely your own disillusionment, young one. You know nothing of what you speak.

 

"..." Mage just stared at Fendori, her expression un-impressingly bored. "I know when my tongue should be held. And I am only speaking what I think."

 

It doesn't make you any less wrong. Fendori turned to Jordan, beckoning for him to follow him. Come, White wolf.

 

"... You are no more wrong then me, Mage of Fire. Now address Jordan by his name, not for something that is not fit for him. He will be fit when I say it is." Mage started at Fendori menacingly.

 

NightShade glared at her. "Okay smart arse. What to hear OUR side of this little story?"
