Roadtrip

"Things would be so much easier if he remembered something..." Emily said before she dug into her second pie. She had already eaten all of her fries and one apple pie. "What if I waited 'til after the trip to tell him? That could work. Maybe?"

 

"Maybe...but what if you start to show? Emily do you think he will take responsibility since he doesn't remember anything?" She said as she bit into a fry.

 

OOC: McDonald's does not have root beer.

BIC: Alyssa noticed Scott walking over and changed the topic quickly. "So, where is one of the places you want to go Emily?"

 

Kipp noticed he was left alone again, sighing to himself. He slowly approached the McDonalds, where he saw the three sitting down together. He slowly joined them, sitting near the window. He listened to the made up conversation.

 

Emily looked at Scott and blushed, remembering what she was thinking about earlier. "Uh-uhm... What? Oh! California... And Colorado. Not New Mexico. I hate that place so much. Where do you want to go?" Emily Ate the last bite of her burger, and rubbed her hands together, cleaning the crumbs off. "Hey there Kipp. You're quiet as usual."

 

Kipp looked at the group, silent. "Shouldn't we head out? My Dad coming to get me isn't such a great image." He finally said, slightly smoothing his hair back. Of course, it doesn't work; and it looked even worse then before. Kipp sighed slightly, looking rather fed-up.

 

"Yeah, we should probably get going." Alyssa said as she stood up. "I'm gonna go get a refill first, if you all want to head back to the car I'll catch up."

 

Kipp got up with Alyssa, putting his hands in his pockets. He stood at the door waiting for Alyssa, keeping a watchful eye on the car.

 

OOC: While I know I haven't posted yet (waiting for the opportune moment), I'm going to be gone for the next ten days. So I haven't forgotten, and I'll probably be able to jump in when I get back.

 

"Alright! Let's gooooo!" Emily shouted, pointing one hand at the car. Finally... the trip is ready for takeoff! "We should probably keep a package of Red Bull... Or some sort of energy drink for those long nights where we'll probably be driving for awhile..." Is that bad for me? Will it hurt my baby...? Hmm... "Or maybe get a megaphone that Alyssa can shout into to wake us all up. Actually, nevermind, she doesn't need a megaphone." Emily joked. She walked outside and waited at the door of the passengers side of Scott's SUV for him to unlock it.

Guys, I am so sorry I didn't post yesterday. My internet has been out.

 

Alyssa refilled her cup quickly and walked outside. She wasn't in much of a talking mood because it was so early and she wanted to help Emily out. She sighed as she walked over to the SUV. She waited at the back door. The one that would be behind the passenger's seat.

 

Emily looked at Alyssa. "So... I'm thinking of telling Scott I'm pregnant. To avoid drama I won't tell him he's the father yet. I really do want this to be a good trip." Emily leaned against the SUV. "I really want Scott to know. I just keep thinking that the trip will be ruined if I tell Scott about it. I'm also a bit worried about Kipp. How long does it take to go into withdrawal? I haven't seen him smoke, drink, or snort anything in awhile. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's not doing anything, but still..." Emily sighed. She was lost on what was the right thing to do.

 

"Well he is probably going to ask who the father is when you tell him. But honestly, I think the sooner you tell him the better. But if he does ask, will you tell him? And about Kipp, I think we just need to keep an eye on him for now. Make sure he isn't acting strange or anything."

 

Emily sighed again. "I just don't know... I want him to know something though... I dunno. I'll talk to him about it tomorrow. After he knows I'm pregnant. I'll tell Scott and Kipp about that tonight" Emily bit her lip. She had a nervous feeling in her gut. Although, that could have been the McDonalds.

 

Kipp felt ignored since he waited for Alyssa at the Exit of McDonalds and she walked right past him, but he let the thought slip and reminded himself it's early. He looked at his shoes and exitted the resturant, walking towards the SUV. He relieved a breath as he leaned against the window of the SUV's back door, really craving a cigarette. He didn't bring any of his drugs with him, but brought his flask and cigarettes just to relax him on the trip. He didn't want his friends to be upset for him being on drugs. He searched his pockets for any clue of cigarettes, but found a lighter. His mind was racing, he wanted a cigarette really bad now. He felt weak, tired leaning against the door. His eyes closed slightly as if in a daze, breathing slowly.

 

Emily climbed into the SUV and buckled up. "Where to?" Emily asked, getting excited. She couldn't wait to get out of here. They lived in Texas. She HATED Texas more than any other place on earth so far. "Umm... Scott, Kipp... I have a secret that I think the two of you should know." Emily's voice began to shake. "I-I'm... pregnant." Emily whispered the last word so softly, she wasn't sure if Kipp or Scott could even hear her.

 

Kipp sat down in the SUV, jumping back at the last word. "Y-you're what?" He said surprised, thinking quickly to the things that he thought she was doing other then having sex. He always thought of her to be the goodie-goodie girl, never the one to have sex. He began to wonder around thought: Who's the father?
Kipp then looked over at Alyssa who he didn't know knew all along, looking for some sort of surprise in her face, finding none.
