Roxas or Ventus?

So a while ago I spied this thread. Which seems to suggest something I did not know before: People seem to prefer Ventus to Roxas? I wonder if that still holds true or if adding more votes to the pool will make a difference. So who's your favorite?

 

Comparing Roxas and Ventus is pretty tough. Roxas is a very calm and thoughtful character who is a bit stubborn and emotional when he doesn't get the answers he's seeking for. But Ventus is so happy and determind and so open-minded. He's awesome ♥
I like both of them. But I think I go for Roxas. His story is way more touching for me than Ventus' story.

 

Roxas because he:

• Dual-wields
• His only one-year of living
• He is a bit smarter or darker when compared to Sora
• Special Nobody
• Kind of has a heart.

-had only a brief time living after losing his memories

LOL! Could you please define the sex-wields?

 

He wield six blades at once

 

With the two keyblades and his special attacks ventus doesn't stand a chance against roxas

WAIT A SE-Well I mean all you've really done is name a tool in his arsenal not prove it can beat Ventus but tHAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE HERE FOR

 

Roxas at full power during the end of 358/2 Days is well beyond the power level of any other KH character to date, however, that's the ONLY form Roxas is pwoerful in. Otherwise he's actually a relatively weak character. He can't beat Sora, and Ventus has a far bigger arsenal than Sora did in KH2.
But Roxas would also pass out from being near Ventus anyways so it's kinda a given that Ven would win :P

 

It's hard for me to choose between these two cause I found both of their stories a bit sad and gave me a bit of sad and happy feels >u<

 

You also get boosted stats and guaranteed critical hits

 

I'm not very interested in either to be honest. I was never very compelled by the Organization (though not playing Days might have something to do with that) and Roxas's angst often bothered me. I did like his intro level in Kingdom Hearts II but beyond that he's not anything special to me. Ven is a bit more bearable if bland in comparison, but I really love Birth by Sleep so imma give him my vote.

Choosing between Sora and Riku though... impossibru

 

It would be Roxas for me. Roxas is really a great character and I love playing as him and his whole backstory is fantastic too.

 

I would say Ventus, because Roxas wouldn't be what he is if it wasn't for Ven.

 

Actually in mission mode, Roxas with Oathkeeper and Oblivion has less defense and attack with the three abitity units compared to the same zero gear but equiping only power units. Trust me, Kingdom Key+ is actually better that Two Across, Duel Keyblade, and Oathkeeper.

You're not missing anything not playign Days, there's nothing about it that changes ANYTHING
Except.... maybe this scene (though it's really more props to Jesse McCartney for the amazing performance)

And Ventus wouldn't be who he is if it wasn't for Sora... probably maybe?
Might as well judge them by their individual merits, not who owes what to who
