Aalis had been relatively quiet up to this point, mostly to take in everything and recover a while. But when she heard Arian address the cheese man she finally said, "Uh... that was... me...." Aalis was quiet a bit before saying, "My semblance I mean. I kind of have this thing where I... don't know what my power is? Well, that's not true either. I know what the power is. It's just, random. A random power every time I cough. It can range anywhere between healing everyone once, or I cough and it can rain people from the sky, until the next time I cough... yes. This has happened. And, well, that time I coughed and the man turned into cheese?"

Aalis realized this sounded completely insane and she looked more shy than she usually did, "I-It's why I try and fight without depending on it! Ya know, cause you can't depend on something that could be anything. Though it usually has a range, and it is always short-lived... so... we don't have to worry about me coughing the universe out of existence."

Well someone was clearly bothered by the rather justified question that the students had, that being said the next person who had spoken up had given them a sort of better explanation to what they had been put through regarding fighting Agni. Lazuli kept what she had said in mind cause going from being knocked out in one blow to being able to take out eight students in a single blow was a pretty significant leap in strength.

Following all that things had started to calm down among the students Lazuli took this as a chance to briefly look around until his attention stopped on the quiet girl that was a part of his team. He recalled that he was going to make an attempt to speak with her before they were put against Agni. She may have been 'speaking' with their leader by the looks of it, didn't mean that he couldn't just join in on their conversation. When he headed towards them, that was exactly what he planned on doing when he said.
"Hello there teammate and leader, I figured some conversing might do us some good."

Almost immediately, Blaine felt that this conversation would be going nowhere. It took only about five words, and already, he wasn't liking his odds. It was clear that the negativity from the earlier incident was getting to him. This wasn't like him at all, where was that exuberance? That 'shining optimism?' He had no problem approaching others before, now one decided to pop up as he was speaking to someone that also seemed to have the same issue. On the bright side, it seemed that Auburn was perfectly willing to lend an ear to whatever conversation would follow their mostly stagnated greeting.

Thankfully, one of their teammates decided to join the conversation. Surely, with three people, they'd be able to start talking more. Maybe even learn more about each other, other than their names and fighting styles. Or maybe adding another person into the mix may make things worse for Auburn.

    Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Smiling at the newcomer, he nodded. "Yes, I agree! Nice to see you, Lazuli."

Auburn was shocked when not only her team leader came over, but another boy as well. She hadn't really talked to any one, on her team or otherwise. Now after the big fight, they had approached, but the conversation however was not an easy one. The first time she had not said much in response to Blaine, and because of this it lead to an awkward silence, until the other boy spoke up. He seemed rather cheery, but Auburn still wasn't totally sure how to respond to him. He had stated a point sure, but he didn't actually go anywhere with his statement. He just kind of said it, and Blaine agreed.

Auburn shifted uncomfortably as the two people were around her. She brought her arms in close to her and just stared at them as they spoke. She wasn't sure what to say, but she didn't like people being this close to her. She purposefully stepped away from everyone, trying to find more room for herself. Knowing that she was fleeing there was a part of her that knew that there wouldn't be a ton of extra space, but to have two people approach and start talking, her anxiety was getting rather high and she just watched them for a moment. It wasn't that either of these guys seemed bad, she simply wasn't good with talking with people. So she once again nodded in agreeance of getting to know each other and just hoped that if they wan't to talk to her that they would ask her specific questions, up until that point it was a struggle to get proper words to form.

She watched them for a minute, then glanced to her sides where her weapons were attached, part of her still wondered if anyone knew who her father was, if anyone cared. Perhaps not, there was more interesting things around, like the girl talking about her semblance in the background. It was certainly an interesting one, more interesting than hers. But Auburn couldn't imagine what the girl had to go through not knowing what was going to happen next. It would be scary dealing with that unknown in a fight. At least she knew what hers would do and how to control it. Auburns eyes drifted from the girl however back to her teammates and then back to her lap feeling rather uncomfortable and unsure how to react.

»Aalis, another teammate spoke up in regards to his statement about the cheese. So it was her fault, that was totally awesome. Arian listened as she explained the workings of her semblance. It was quite unique and Arian rather liked that. "That is so cool. I mean weird but cool. I just have really, really good aim. Like I can't miss. So you know it is helpful, but only in certain situations. You could do almost anything. Imagine doing that to a bad guy and turning him into cheese. Then we could just eat our problems away. I like cheese." Arian's ears had perked up a little bit, like he was interested in something, then his stomach growled. Some wolfish part of him seemed to be listening for something to eat. His eyes also glanced around the space they were in wondering if anyone here had food. "Too bad I didn't have a nose like a wolf though, that would be so handy with many things, don't you think?" Arian's stomach grumbled a little bit and he couldn't help but give a sheepish grin towards his team not saying anything but clearly a little embarrassed.

Lazuli hadn't expected much of a response from their quiet teammate, but he did at least think that their leader would say something more than a simple reply. Oh well, he knew that getting her to talk. That much was easy to figure out in the small window that they had to interact with one another. It wasn't the only thing that he'd noticed and with the need of a topic to speak about, now seemed like a good time to bring it up.

"The pleasure's mine." Lazuli answered, groaning internally at his choice of words. Anything that cause him to remember the preferred lifestyle that his father wanted caused him to groan. His attention then turned back to Auburn. "The way you fought back there, it didn't look like someone who lacked formal training."

Hearing the story behind Aalis's semblance left Vice unsure how to feel about it. In a way it made him glad for the fact that he preferred to do things on his own. He choose not to focus on that for long and went to just simple looking around as he waited.

Qrow looked out the window before the pilot informed the Huntsman that they were landing momentarily. He nodded to the pilot before facing the group. "Alright! Listen up! We're gonna be landing soon.Somebody is gonna be meeting us when we land. So pay attention to them!" The plane descended from the sky and rolled onto the walkway. As they landed, a sign or whatever remained read, 'Welcome to Mistral'.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A woman with blonde hair, green eyes and glasses had been waiting at the landing site. Next to her had been a young man with dark hair and white scarf looking at the plane. Once the plane landed, Qrow gestured to the group to exit the plane. By the time Makani & Fiametta reached Qrow, the Huntsman spoke up. "Don't worry. She's here to help." Makani remained quiet while Fiametta nodded to Qrow. The two exited the aircraft. Qrow walked up to the woman, raising his arm as a greeting gesture. "Glad to see you're alright Glynda!" The woman immediately barked at the man. "Don't you start Qrow!" Qrow immediately retracted his hand. He reached for his flask and took a swig from it. Glynda sighed before turning to the students. "Hello. My name is Glynda Goodwitch. I'm a professor at Beacon and a Huntress. I'm glad you all made it here safely." Glynda started walking ahead of the group. "Let's take this discussion somewhere else. I'm afraid it's not safe out here right now." With that, Glynda led the group to an inn nearby by the name of Crestworth Inn. "Please have a seat. We have much to go over."

Once everyone sat down, Glynda spoke up once more. "As you know, the Four Guardians are in danger. Makani and Fiametta are sub-guardians." Glynda paused then resumed. "Sub-guardians are similar to heirs of a throne but some of their powers are given to them by the Four themselves. Should one or all four befall a tragedy, the sub-guardians will be given all of their respective Guardian's power and will assume their role as the new Guardian. As it stands, the Four are at great risk at the moment." Glynda paused as she saws Makani clench his fists. Fiametta placed her hand on Makani's shoulder. He looked over to her and nodded before looking at Glynda. She took a deep breath before speaking again. "Right now, 3 of the Guardians, god forbid all of them, are under a spell. Said spell gives the spellcaster full control of those afflicted by the spell. We're still investigating who could've been the spell caster. However, Headmaster Ozpin, Qrow, Lady Brisa, and myself have a few suspicions and clues as to who it could be." Qrow leaned against the wall behind Glynda and spoke up. "Brisa had said she knew who it could be but she never told us by the time the culprit started. Hey Makani, did Brisa ever tell you or mention anything?" Makani looked at Qrow before he held his chin, reaching back into his memories. He spoke up. "From what I recall, Lady Brisa only told me bits and pieces. She had told me that she and the other three had fought someone before the sub-guardians were ever established. However, she never told me their name or anything else about them." Qrow and Glynda looked at each other with widen eyes before Qrow sighed and looked at the ceiling. "Well that solves who Brisa thought it could be." Glynda looked at the students. "Before Brisa spoke with you, she had visited and told us to give you and the sub-guardians these instructions when the time comes." Qrow opened up again. "Before we get into that, the spell caster goes by the name of Tavor. This was way before you guys were born and before the sub-guardians were ever a thing This isn't the first time he tried this. Back then, he was already hell-bent on destroying Remnant. However, that didn't really worked and so the Four sealed him away. Question we're asking now is, how did he get out?" Glynda nodded before opening up again, "Before this whole situation today, Brisa had come to us and had told us she had a premonition. Her premonition was about this exact day, she had also told us a group of warriors would be the ones to save Remnant. She believes that this group would be you." Glynda paused and Qrow continued. "She thinks you guys will be the ones to restore peace to all of Remnant." Silence filled the room as nobody spoke up over the information that had just been shared. After few minutes, Glynda pushed up her glasses before speaking once more. "Brisa also had instructions for the sub-guardians but we'll be speaking in private about it." Makani and Fiametta looked at one another before facing forward again. Glynda continued, "On behalf of Beacon, I apologize for putting you all in this situation, however, Remnant needs you. For now, how about we all get some rest? You've been through a lot today." Qrow immediately spoke up. "Makani. Fiametta. We still gotta talk to you." Glyna immediately called for the innkeeper. "The innkeeper will show you to your rooms. We'll continue our discussion in the morning. Have a nice night everyone." The innkeeper led the students out of the room and to their rooms. As the door closed, only the Huntsman, the Huntress, and the two sub-guardians were left.

Auburn was sitting quietly when the attention was brought back to her and her fighting. Of course it would, not that it was a bad thing. Besides the fact she was a bit nervous with people, she was rather proud of her fighting and all that her father had taught her. She was proud to be her fathers daughter after all, even if they weren't actually related. She didn't remember enough of her real father to know if she took after him or not, so she was happy just talking as though her adopted father was her father and letting people believe that if they so chose.

Glancing up only slightly Auburn rallied the nerves to actually speak to her teammate that was talking to her. She had remained quiet for so long now that it was odd to even think of speaking to them, or how to speak to them. She was happy being back in the corner, nearly invisible... Or at least somewhat happy, when everyone was talking among themselves before the battle started she remembered that she was feeling upset about that, but in the end part of her also believed that she preferred that, as she was now faced with two people and wasn't really sure what to say to them.

"Well... You see...." Auburn hesitated trying to figure out how to explain her "education" on fighting. "My father is a huntsman, a really good one at that. He has been training me most of my life to fight while raising me since he couldn't go out in the field again until recent years." Auburn knew that her father got restless sometimes not being able to go out and do jobs during the time he raised her. In the end he simply had no one else to come care for her if he did go out, so instead he taught her how to fight and put his skills to use that way until she was old enough to be left home alone for several days at a time, only then did he start working slowly once more.

Not long after the conversation ended they were landing in their next location, somewhere safer so it seemed. Stepping from the plane they were introduced to a woman, another story of her fathers come to life. It was weird being here now, seeing everything that was spoken to her about coming true in front of her eyes. There was no words to describe how she felt about it as she stared at the woman, another friend of her fathers. Auburn had always known her father had lots of important friends but she hadn't expected to meet so many of them on her first day at the academy.

From the landing pad they were lead to an inn where the woman started to explain things. Again why was this all being put on them. There were so many great huntsmen out there, why was a group of children being asked to deal with this. Why did lady Brisa believe they could do it? It didn't make any sense to her, surely there was at least older students that could help with this. Auburn wanted to bring that up, wanted to say something, but she was too shy. She was worried about speaking up. She thought perhaps she could ask privately later, but as soon as Glynda finished speaking they were dismissed and the innkeeper was called to escort them out. Auburn didn't try to argue as she once again made herself seem small and shuffled along to her room.

Dubhán stood at Glynda's side as the transport plane set down on the landing pad. His scarf billowing behind him as the rush of air from the jet engines hit him. He was still a little confused as to why he was here, he had only arrived at Beacon that day, only to shortly after be shipped out again because of an emergency evacuation. On his way to the designated transport the lady he stood beside had picked him out of the crowd for some reason he couldn't even fathom to accompany her. On their way here she explained what was going on, atleast as far as she could tell. He was to go ahead with her and make some preparations for the arrival of the headmaster, a teacher and a few other students. As the people disembarked he just familiarised himself with each of their faces, even if he had no names to go with them just yet.

As they sat down in the inn, Dubhán took the seat at Glynda's right hand, it was a conscious choice, that way there was the one familiar person in this gathering next to him and well she had chosen him as a sort of right hand. The young lad listened attentively to what Glynda was saying, eventhough he had heard it before as she explained these things on the way here. However new information was shared as more was learned, the thought of a spell that gave full control of the target terrified him deeply. In his eyes a man was responsible for their actions and the outcome of them, not being able to control one's own actions was an afront to their existence.

As Dubhán listened to the apology for how peculiar the day had been. Arriving at Beacon, something he had worked hard for, then within the same day leaving understrange circumstances. Being chosen to help on some very weird mission to save the entirety of Remnant. Glynda had already explained they couldn't pull full fledged huntsmen as they were all needed to protect humanity from the Grimm, what he didn't understand was why first-year students were picked, not even students yet at that. And why he specificly had been chosen to go along with Glynda was a complete mystery to him. He hadn't been the best of his class at Signal, if it had to do with his origin lying outside one of the Kingdoms it was odd too at a place like Beacon he couldn't be the only one from outside the established Kingdoms. He didn't have some impressive legacy to uphold, he was just the kid of a hunter in some backwater town, striving to be a Huntsman. As the innkeeper escorted the group out to their rooms, he walked along, his blades at his sides, today hadn't been at all what he had expected of his first day at Beacon and it was a whole lot to take in for someone like himself and he was glad that he could rest.

Placing Metasoma on the end table in his new room, Braden (Or rather, Cadoc) crashed onto the bed quite unceremoniously before beginning to fiddle with Telson. He observed the gleaming blade quietly as he considered the events of the day and the rather odd turn that enrolling at Beacon academy had taken. The two teams with which he was now allied were amateurs just as he was, and he couldn't help but feel worried about their odds. Logically he knew that they would be receiving guidance from the more experienced Hunters and Huntresses in this endeavor, but... some of the attitudes of the others worried him.

However, he chose to push that out of his mind; people grew with time and experience. Sometimes the most someone can do in that regard is simply be there. Understanding the importance of rest, Cadoc hid the dagger underneath his pillow and crawled beneath the covers. Blowing out a nearby candle and engulfing the room in darkness, he lay his head down for the night.

Internally, Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief when the joke went down well. Well enough at least. It got the person who actually handled humour and small talk better doing his thing again, and maybe it defrosted some of the earlier tension. When he thought about this morning's events in light of what had happened afterwards... Did it even matter? It probably didn't. And then there was the matter of the cheese man. He had to admit - He hadn't spotted that. How he missed that was beyond him. Aalis' explanation of her Semblance was yet more concerning somehow - She had a Semblance that activated more or less randomly and had random effects? That was... Unique. The conversation went on, and Arian's stomach started awkwardly grumbling while Lloyd thought about his Semblance feeling perfectly ordinary by comparison. His mouth curled into a slight smile at the timing of Arian's hunger pangs, although he couldn't help but notice Vice being conspicuously silent. Before he could say anything though, they touched down.

As he glanced outside, he noticed a sign stating that they had arrived in... Mistral? That's when it hit him - This was the first time he had left Vale. He was on new soil, in a strange land, with stranger events surrounding him with only a group of people who had only just stopped being strangers. And even some of them remained mysteries to him. The quiet girl on Blaine's team for instance, Auburn was it? And as he saw Professor Goodwitch, another boy was standing there with her. He wasn't one of the ones from the office earlier, was he? They looked around the same age. Maybe he was a year above or something? Either way, he didn't look like any of the others here in a distinct way - He had an air of roughness about him that pegged him as another one from outside the Kingdoms' big cities. For now, he said nothing and followed into an establishment known as the Crestworth Inn to listen.

After the argument earlier, Lloyd had no taste for arguing about the sense of what was happening. Instead, he fixed his attention on listening to what he was being told. An enemy capable of taking on heroes of legend, someone named Tavor. Prophecies that they were a part of. The explanation made about as much sense as anything else had today. He wasn't ready to accept all of this as normal yet. Everything felt so exceptional. He thought that Beacon would be like Signal but for older students. Instead they found... This. The talk ended, and they were all led away.

"If any of you need to talk about any of this, drop by. My door's open." He offered as they were all taken to their rooms. He was a leader, and he had to take care of his team. And the others. He left the offer deliberately open. Even if he didn't entirely understand it all, this wasn't a burden that they could all handle alone. The team leader unbuckled Firebrand from his back and placed the twin blades lovingly on the table before sitting heavily on the bed, stripping off his heavy jacket. "What have I got myself into here...?" He reached behind him and undid the tie holding his ponytail together and looked down at it.
"I don't know if I'm coming home..." He reflected grimly, as if the one who gave it to him could hear what he was saying. He sighed and threw the small hairband over by his weapon, and his jacket flew across the room and thudded on to the chair. He stood up, and hung it properly over the back and sat on it. He kept a lamp on but the main light was off. He'd stay awake a while in case someone did want to come talk to him. Honestly, he wished he'd had time to bring his stuff with him. He didn't have any of his books to read and relax. "What is the world coming to?" He held his right knee up with his hands and stared at the leg of the table, lost in his thoughts, waiting for a knock that may never come.

The explanation that Aubrun had given him and nodded in understanding. Compared to his style of fighting, which had just adapted and evolved from all of the fight that he got himself into during his times in the slums of Mistral, her's was much more refine and and a clear teaching behind them. It was something that Lazuli found to be...interesting.

Mistral. Certainly not where he'd expected to return to after his leave from here. Being lead into the inn, he took a seat along with everyone else and Glynda gave them a summary of everything. Simply put they were already on the losing side of things. One of the guardians was already bad enough to have to deal with, but with three of them already being underneath some sort of spell really stacked the odd against them.

Having been guided to his room, Lazuli had walked over towards the window and looked outside. For the most part nothing had really changed from the looks of things. Same streets, same crowd of people walking those streets. It was oddly nice to be home considering that he had pretty much snuck away from here.

Blaine probably should have felt atleast some happiness at seeing the majority of his team talking together, including him, but it seemed that it would have to be stopped short as they had finally arrived at their destination. Though before they left, Blaine heard Auburn's comment about the origin of her fighting skills. Trained by her father...There was definitely something stirring up his memories, but he just couldn't place a finger on it. Didn't really matter, there were more pressing concerns to get to.

Blaine walked with the group into the inn, and looked around before taking a seat. He listened intently as Glynda explained everything. Once it was over, Blaine was once again at a loss of words, and emotions. What was he supposed to feel? Excited? Anxious? Apparently, he was part of some prophecy that foretold the world's doom, which could be stopped by a group of first-years. He was just thankful that he managed to get some time to himself, he felt absolutely drained of everything.

Sitting on the edge of his bed, Blaine sighed. This wasn't anywhere close to the kind of life he'd expected. Being made a leader was one thing, but now he had to be a part of an effort to stop mystical deities?

He knew he wouldn't be getting any sleep soon, so instead of spending his time stressing, Blaine decided to do something. Getting off the bed, he lowered himself onto the floor and started doing push-ups in a handstand. Maybe he'd get rid of some stress this way. Training was nothing but natural and familiar to him at this point. And right now, familiarity was something that he needed in this world of unknowns.

»Ah sweet land. Arian couldn't say he particularly enjoyed flying. He didn't fear it, but he would much rather be somewhere that he could at any time step out and be on solid ground instead of free falling through the open air to his doom. And with crazy fire guardian on the loose, he could easily see her throwing some of her weirdo powers at them and the plane catching on fire and them crashing. It wasn't a pleasant though, but at least they made it safely to their next location where Qrow may as well have just handed them off to another teacher. It wasn't that he left all together, but it felt like the man wanted nothing to do with the new students that they dragged here. All the drinking was probably effecting his logical thinking. Why would the guy who had taken it upon himself to order them around so much suddenly decide he didn't want to deal with them... unless. Arian listened to the way that they conversed. Perhaps he had his eyes on another prize. Personally Arian found Glynda too old to be appealing, but perhaps the drunk saw it differently. Either way it wasn't really his problem, as long as in the end he got food.

»As they were heading to the in, Arian started to turn his attention to they boy with Glynda. One of the junior guardians perhaps? Arian didn't recognize the boy and he seemed to stay rather close to the teacher. They didn't look alike, but perhaps she had a son that was going to help them or something like that? Perhaps she would explain as they went inside and sat down for the big explanation of what the heck had been going on this entire time. Some explanation that was, in the end there was more questions than answers. They were chosen by a prophecy? A prophecy of all things? What were they supposed to do against a man who controls the minds of the most powerful beings in the world? And with what? A team made up of several people who don't talk, a girl who has no control over her semblance, a girl who won't show her face, a faunus. What sort of team was that? They couldn't seriously expect them to save the world as a group of misfit first year students. Arians happy care free demeanor quickly vanished as he listened to the speech given.

»Glynda finished talking and quickly sent them off, the strange boy as well. Likely not a sub-guardian then. He still wondered who the boy was, however was a little too stressed to bother asking as he followed everyone towards the rooms. Lloyd offered to keep his door open if anyone needed to talk, but talking was the last thing Arian wanted to do. He was angry and he honestly didn't like people seing him when he was angry, because he wasn't the happy charming faunus that he usually was. It bothered him when people saw him in such a bad state, he feared that it would make them believe the lies told about how horrible faunus's were. And while some were not good people, that wasn't all of them. Not everyone was a White Fang radicalist, some actually had a level head on their shoulders.

»Upon entering his room Arian started to pace as he thought about what he was told, his ears were back and he paced like a worried dog would. His animal features gave away his emotions more than he would like, often times his ears showing as much emotion as he expressed with his mouth. As he paced his stomach growled again, he had hardly touched his food during the explanation, too shocked at what he was being told. Now that things had settled he really realized how hungry he still was. Arian looked to the door as he stopped pacing. He had to calm down before he was allowed to leave the room. A few deep breaths, and a fake smile on his face as he dug out his credit card. May as well try and have fun, if only to avoid reality. Stepping out of the room he smiled as he walked the halls."So who wants food, or a drink. I am buying!" He shouted as he continued to walk towards the main part of the tavern, wondering if he could get away with ordering booze or not.

At even the slightest mention of food, especially what was pretty much free food, Aalis immediately ran on over towards Arian saying, "Me me me me me me me!" she was starving probably as much as anyone else here, and she was a food lover anyway. Why would she pass up a good meal? She was basically trailing Arian like some sort of puppy excited for his meal to be given, which was ironic to her considering Arian by all accounts was the puppy here but hey, she didn't mind a bit of role reversal. But as she walked close, she felt a tickling sensation and suddenly clung to Arian and started whispering, "Watermelon watermelon watermelo-" but her sneezing didn't stop and Aalis let out a sneeze. She looked around to see if there was an area of effect and was grateful nothing happened and she let out a sigh of relief.

Unbeknownst to Aalis though, she was glowing a very bright blue color. Like, the aura just radiated off of her for no discernible reason. But she couldn't see it since to her she looked absolutely normal. But her next sneeze didn't seem to be happening yet. Aalis looked at Arian and said,
"Hey, this time nothing major happened. This is a good sign!"

As Dubhán retreated to the quarters with the other students, he didn't feel at ease too much, these were all new people and with that came certain expectations. Luckily for Dubhán as they were lead towards their rooms the other students weren't too curious about his being there waiting for them. Glynda hadn't introduced him and he hadn't bothered to do so yet either. It wasn't like he was the only one who wasn't being very talkative. Save for another guy who said that if anyone wanted to come by and talk then his door would be wide open. Was he some sort of councillor? Dubhán highly doubted it given his age, perhaps he was a teamleader. Either way Dubhán felt no inclination to go and talk to the man, there was nothing he wanted to talk about, well that wasn't entirely true, a name would be nice to know but that could wait.

Dubhán retreated to his chambers and lay on his bed thinking about everything that happened today, the evacuation from school, he had thought that here in the Kingdoms such emergency situations wouldn't happen in the same way they did back home, between bandits and the grimm that followed in their wake that warranted the entire village to be on alert, everyone doing their part. He had expected that the security within the Kingdom would have been better prepared to deal with such things. Luckily Dubhán had experience with emergencies and helped out a few other students to the shuttles before Glynda had requested his help.

He was busy unstrapping his weapons from his sides when he heard someone going down the hallway saying fairly loudly they'd pay for food and while Dubhán knew it wasn't the best thing to do to eat before sleeping, he was rather hungry after such a long and strange day. Figuring that for just one day it didn't matter too much, he left his room following the guy that had been yelling at this hour. It turned out he wasn't the only one interested in the offer that had been made, a free meal wasn't something that Dubhán was going to pass up. And while it was another person who might want to make conversation, it might also help distract the generous benefactor from him. He noticed that this benefactor had a fluffy tail and a pair of canine ears, he couldn't remember when the last time was he had seen a faunus. Why hadn't he noticed it before? Perhaps he had been a little too lost in thoughts to notice it.

As he joined them silently he just listened to what they were saying, after the girl sneezed and then franticly looked around he just observed, it looked extremely odd to him. Was there something wrong with this girl? It also didn't escape him that after sneezing the girl started to glow with a blue light. This wasn't some sort of sickness he knew of, not that that meant all that much, but he still found it odd the girl had been acting so strangely. Was this perhaps some kind of magic? Dust being used in an extremely weird way? A smile played up on Dubhán's lips as the girl said that nothing strange had happened, clearly oblivious of the fact that she was glowing blue. It amused him, but he didn't say anything about it. He was really just here for the food and to atleast get a name from someone for practicality's sake, after all they could be his teammates.

He waited for a while, thinking things over. Reflecting on the fight earlier. The argument on the Bullhead with Makani, one sided as it was. Things were quiet. For a while anyway. A cry went out, and unsurprisingly it was Arian offering to buy them all more food. He smiled wryly. Of course it would be him who ran down the corridors to interrupt people's rest. Lloyd knew that there was only one real option when he heard that. He stood up and headed towards the door. He put a hand on his jacket and considered throwing it on as well, but relented. It wasn't cold. They weren't in danger. He didn't need his armoured jacket, or Firebrand. He picked up his hairband from the table and arranged his hair into his usual ponytail and headed downstairs.

He found the others sat around a table. Three were sat there. Arian was there of course, and that quiet boy from earlier who hadn't said much, he was just there with Glynda. Aalis was there, but something was very different.

"You're looking a little blue there Aalis." Lloyd commented as he crossed the room to their table, a bemused smirk on his face. He pulled out a chair and took a seat, leaning back and trying to relax a little. He glanced over too their quiet friend. "Have any of my team introduced themselves to you?" He suspected not.
"I'm Lloyd, leader of Team LAVA. These are Aalis and Arian, two of my team." He gestured to each of them in turn. "Your name is...?"

»The first person who joined was Aalis, who looked rather excited for the concept of food. He was happy to have her along. She seemed like an interesting person, good company after all, her weird semblance and all. In fact the semblance made things more interesting. Interesting was good, it was a good distraction from everything that was going on. As they walked though, Aalis stopped as she put a hand on his shoulder, he looked at her curiously as she started mumbling something about watermelons. What that was about he didn't know, but soon she sneezed and then started glowing. He considered telling her that that was happening, however he then decided it was more fun to not, and see how it would go. There was a sly smile on his face as he continued to walk forward. Sure they would get some weird look, but he was a faunus that was to be expected, the glowing blue thing would only add to it but that was okay.

»Soon after the boy from before walked up behind them as well. Well free food always brings people out he supposed, though he still didn't know who the man was. Arian glanced over to Aalis to see if she had any clue about him, but before he could bother asking about it, Lloyd came out, first commenting on Aalis. "Hey don't ruin the joke, that is no fun." Arian joked laughing as he turned to Lloyd. "Glad you dragged your butt to join us. I was worried you would brood all night."Arian joked with the leader of his group. He was happy to be able to have this light hearted conversation with Lloyd. When they first met things weren't going this well, so the change was good.

»Thankfully Lloyd took lead introducing them to the new kid. While Arian pretended that he was charismatic, but starting another normal conversation with a person was a little hard. He didn't know how to find out who he was or what he was doing here without being very, very blunt. Arian was the kind of man to ask someone outright the questions he had, but a part of him told him that was not a good idea right now. So letting Lloyd talk Arian took the lead getting them a tab rolling. Walking up to the bar he put his credit card down and flashed the bartender a smile. "Start a tab on this, it will be for us and these fine friends here, as well as any of the other people you saw us with earlier. It is all on me. Now could I get a steak and a mug of your finest Ale?" Arian asked. He knew that he wasn't old enough to be drinking, but he did at home with his parents and he really hoped that he could get away with it now, hopefully he wouldn't be ID'd.

As they all entered their own rooms, Auburn retreated to hers. It wasn't that she was tired or anything, she was actually pretty wide awake, but she didn't feel like going back out. Making sure that her door was locked, Auburn moved to her bed and sat down toying with her phone. She looked at the picture of her background, her and her father. Auburn just sat there for a moment before finally punching in a number to her phone. She listened to it ring several times and then her fathers familiar voice asking her to leave a message, followed by a beep. Auburn didn't start speaking right away, she considered hanging up, but knew if she did that her father would worry even more, so finally she started to leave a message.

"Hey dad, it is me. I am just calling to let you know I am safe. I wish you were here, they could really use your help. We are in Mistral now. I met the Air guardian today.... And the fire guardian. We tried to fight her but it didn't work so well. We had to flee the school and they say that we have to help in this effort to help stop the guardians and the person who seems to be controlling them. I don't know why us though. We are barely first years. Where are you dad? Why can't you handle this. You know all these important people, everyone knows you, why can't you be here, why does it have to be me? I don't know what to do and I am struggling to get to know the other students. Being thrown into this mess just makes it harder. Please call back soon. Love you."

Click. Auburn hung up the phone just in time to hear the Faunus boy call out offering to buy food. Unlike him she actually took her time and ate her food during the meeting, it was a good distraction to keep her hands from shaking after all. She didn't need food and she certainly didn't need more interaction with her fellow students. Maybe going out there would help her fit in more, but she didn't feel like putting that effort in. She didn't know how to make friends with these people, and sh wasn't good at talking with people. Usually she ended up just listening to other people talking, and that got her nowhere. If she was going to sit in silence she may as well sit in silence in her room. In the mean time Auburn took out a wet stone. Her weapons didn't really need sharpened, but it was good to keep the edge, especially if they were going to have more fights like they did earlier that day. She needed to be prepared for anything.

The longer that Lazuli looked outside of the window to his room at the streets below, the more he was slowly wanting to just sneak out and roam the streets. It would fun for old time sake, plus it didn't look like much had changed since he had been there. Form his perspective it would be perfectly fine for him to do just that, even with the added fact that he had little to no plans on letting anyone else know about it. A force of habit. if he would have to explain himself.

Right as he was about to open the window however, he heard a voice shouting from outside. An offer to buy them food and drinks, good enough enough for him. When he had opened the door to step out of his room, he caught sight of Aalis glowing blue. That certainly wasn't the oddest thing considering that she briefly turned a man into cheese. With a simple shrug he trailed behind the two.

Being the last one to arrive, he was surprised to see that Lloyd had ended up tagging along as well. Not to mention the fact that the new guy who had come with Professor Glynda was there as well. An interesting turn of events for sure. Striding further in, Lazuli walked up to where Arian and the others were.
"You sure you wanna go through with this?"

Dubhán followed Arian and Aalis without a word on either himself or on Aalis glowing blue. He felt a little bit uneasy not having his weapons with him but he kept reminding himself of the fact that he was in one of the Kingdoms, security was centralized and not as much a concern of the common people. Even when in the back of his mind the information from today was slowly withering away that certainty with the guardians presumably lost. Even as he was going over all these things he heard someone walk up and join them. Dubhán looked at the person for a moment and realized it was the man whom had offered that his door was open if anyone needed to talk, this was going to be just great. Although he might actually pick up a name of someone here now.

It didn't take long for the new bloke to start talking, starting with a remark on the girl's curious little condition. While it did ruin the amusing part of it pretending that nothing was wrong, it did provide him with the girl's name. And then came the part he had been expecting, at the very least there weren't too many people around to talk with some it didn't seem like there was going to be an aweful lot more waiting for him. Thankfully the situation provided names with all the faces present before he was to give his. Dubhán did still think the man wasted too many words on it, making the right assumption that his other two teammates hadn't intoduced themselves and rambling on before he got to answer, not that the outcome would have been any different, but it still seemed like a little bit of a waste of energy to him.

When asked what his name was Dubhán just looked at Lloyd and finished his sentence. "
Dubhán." He spoke clearly and without hesitation. He looked over to the person who Lloyd named Arian when the faunas turned and took a shot at his own team leader. Dubhán couldn't surpress the smirk that the remark brought forth. Making the assumption that this team had known each other long enough to form a team at that meant they at the very least knew each other better and Dubhán made the mental note to mark Lloyd as the brooding sort, nothing wrong with it but still worthy of atleast a little note. After that Arian went to the bar requesting an ale with another person joining them questioning that decision. Drinking with comrades was part of life, Dubhán had observed the ritual plenty of times and had partaken in it himself a little bit as they had succesfully defended the village. Dubhán just took a moment to check what sort of food they had and making up his mind whether he would join Arian in the ritual.
