"Ah, now you have discovered this world and I have gone over all of your forms of registration. Welcome to Summon Arc Online, a world of demons, angels, and much more. Please enjoy this game to the fullest. Just remember, if you die, you die for real. There are no second chances. Much like the Sword Art Online incident, this will be a game to test humanities resolve to succeed in a group. Treat your summons well, control your bonds, beat this game.

As an added bonus to you all, I am granting you a <<Weapon Evolution Potion>> This will allow your first weapon to evolve right from the beginning. Another added bonus is that every single location in this game is now free. PVP is free no matter where you go The only exception is when a player is currently in the sleeping status. As well, I have eliminated the indicator. You will not know if a person is truly a PKer or a loyal partner. This is all in the name of trust. You are all to start in this square, the Circle of Judgement.

I am Creator. Beat this game. Have fun."

A large ghost figure disappeared into the sky, leaving the current 1000 players alone in the Circle of Judgement. A cool mist fell onto the town and the players who stood there. There was absolute silence among the crowd. Soon, after the moments of fear sunk in, many screamed to the situation. It was just like before. The Sword Art Online situation had happened all again. This was soon to be known as the SAO2 Crime.

People of all ages were trapped in this new death game, a game supposedly more real than the original SAO. Pain was going to be much more relevant and blood loss was put into effect. The only thing to aid them in the battles ahead were the summons that all the players had chosen. However, the secrets of this world will still unknown, even to those who were the beta testers of the game. None of the even managed to find or defeat the first boss to this challenging game.

For those who were once in the SAO incident, this would be a trauma to them all. An incident replicated in the exact same fashion, some would fall to their knees in fear, some would embrace the challenge, knowing and accepting that the only way to continue forth was to beat this game. How was the question. Kayaba Akihiko is Sword Art Online at least gave then the blueprints to winning. This game... this was a new frontier. Players would need to spread out, work together as a unit, or else this game was going to be a loss and nobody would survive.

    Summon Arc Online has begun.

The moments of the revelation were still clear in Kat's mind and she was shaking. This game had them trapped, they had less hints than ever, and there were less people in this game than the SAO incident. Everything had been more realistic. Everything. The blood. The cries. The...

Kat stared at her hands, shaking in trauma.

    I.... I...

Eventually she had to stand. She had to force herself to stand and be strong. Kat hugged herself looking around at the group of people. It was fresh off of announcement time, he didn't know how everyone else was gonna go. But Kat knew immediately that being in this large group could have two results. A compromise or a riot.

Kat wasn't ready for a riot. So she backed away to try and get to the far edge of the circle of judgement, hoping to get a bit away from the larger part of the crowd while she was in recovery.

Samantha stood in the square listening to what the man had to say. Her knees began to shake and as he disappeared she fell to the ground, crying. She was scared, oh goodness she was scared. How could she be in this situation? No everything was supposed to be fine now, it was supposed to be safe now. Samantha never intended on spending much time in the game, she just wanted to see why her brother was so obsessed with these kinds of games. Now she was here. She was going to die too wasn't she? Samantha was never good with video games and never trained with a weapon, unlike her brother. Seth was a gamer, he also trained with some of the guards around their home to keep in shape. Samantha liked to keep to herself and read. This was horrible. What was she going to do?

Samantha began to sob, softly curled up on the ground. How did she end up like this? How could it happen to her. She was thirteen, not even a young woman, and this was going to be how it ended for her, wasn't it? Seth couldn't survive SAO, how could she survive this?
"Please Seth, give me strength. I want to see you again but I don't want to die like this. What do I do?" Samantha whispered softly, talking to her dead brother. How could her life go downhill so fast, ever since he got trapped in the game... no ever since it killed him her life was slowly getting worse, and now this. At least she knew her parents wouldn't miss her too much given that they never paid attention to her, instead too focused on work and grieving for Seth. She was alone in the real world, and now she was alone here, except for her summon. The only difference was that the threat of death here was a lot more real than the death threats that her family received at home.

"Hmph, so another death game is it? That would make three of three for me now. Well Clarice here is another chance for you to try to kill me when I can't defend myself. Lets see if you are able to convince dad to stop my treatment before I get out of this game. I survived the last two, I am going to survive this one as well." Lucas stated as he stood in the middle of the crowd showing no where near as bad of a reaction as most. He merely declared a challenge to his step mother in the real world who was probably already plotting his demise. She hated him because he reminded his father why he loved his real mother, why he loved him and would rather care for him than pay attention to her. If Clarice had her way he would be off his treatment and dying so the money spent on it could be spent on her. Lucas also didn't expect for his bank account to still be full when he woke up. When he wasn't stuck in a death game she would steal from him, when he was it was worse.

Getting annoyed with the frantic crowd Lucas simply walked away from everyone, summoning his new lance to examine it.
"Well this seems nice. Haven't tried a lance before. It could be fun really. I will become even stronger here than ever in SAO, and with Hercules at my side nothing will stop me." He stated with a slight smirk on his face. He would rather this game kill him than his step mother get her way and kill him. But if Lucas could help it neither would happen, instead he would get out, likely continue with his VRMMO's until the day Cancer finally claimed him, but his doctors said it wouldn't be for a few years at least. A few years that would be spent creating the strongest avatar he could. Each game he got stronger and one day he would be the next Kirito, the next one everyone looks up to and is impressed by their ability. He would be the best in a game one day. That was his goal before he died.

The look on Samuel's face was one of silent horror as he stood in the square listening to the creator speaking. He'd been playing the game for about seven hours before the meeting, and during that time it had been remarkably fun. He had duelled several people and been attacked by several people, but at the time it had all been in the name of fun. A game that he and everyone else had been enjoying, laughing and having a great time. He'd been an uncontested champion amongst the few people he'd fought, defeating all of them. No, not defeating as he had believed at the time. Killing all of them. If they died in the game, they died in real life. It was just like Sword Art Online had been.

Slowly, he unsheathed the sword slung over his shoulder and poured the potion over it. Sure enough, the sword glowed and then expanded to match the length of a katana; his weapon of choice. It reminded him exactly of the one he had used in Sword Art Online, all that time ago. It was the very same blade he had slain monsters and people alike, and now here he was in the centre of the square, just as guilty as he had felt once he'd escaped the game. Nothing had changed. He began feeling very, very agitated and quickly began pushing through the crowd. A couple of people were too stunned to move, but with an angry "Get out of my way" they either moved out of the way or were pushed over. He got through them and made a break for the exit to the town. He almost ran into a girl that was trying to get away from the crowd, but a quick dodge to his left let him pass her. Once Samuel had made it to a nearby gate, he could hold it in no longer. People would probably hear, but at least he was far enough that amidst the confusion most people probably wouldn't try to comfort him.

Releasing a loud and furious yell, he let his head hang down as he collapsed onto the ground. Once again he was in this situation, nothing had changed. Everything was going to hell again, and he was going to die. He probably deserved it, no he did deserve it...he'd killed people not once, not twice, but far more times than he could bear to think about, and now he'd done it again.

After a few minutes, he stood up. Looking at his katana, he felt an overwhelming pang of pain. Perhaps he always would, but he couldn't let it stop him. Maybe he would slip back into his old habits, maybe he'd become a PK-er again, but there was only one way out of this game. In Sword Art Online, there had been a swordsman much like himself, his name had been Kirito, and he had been one of the game's strongest players. He had led people to victory time and time again and had helped them escape, but after looking around Samuel could see he wasn't there this time. Meaning someone had to take up the mantle and brave the terrors the dungeons held. He'd have to train, hunt creatures, and complete quests to get more powerful, but eventually maybe he could be that someone. Maybe. And then, Samuel would commit one last sin. He would take one more life, of that he was sure. Turning to look at the field beyond, Samuel knew what he had to do.

He was going to slay the creator, even if it killed him.

Emma Herondale acquired her stronger weapon, a shotgun. She hadn't had one before, but apparently this was what fate had decided was going to be her weapon. Back at home, she'd never even fired a gun, so this was going to be interesting. Would the game assist her with aiming, or would she have to learn on the fly? She hoped it was the former. More than that though, she hoped she didn't have to use it against any other players. This game was both a blessing and a curse, from what she could tell. When the SAO Incident had happened, Emma had decided then to become a doctor. She had told herself that if she could help save the people that had harmed themselves from the traumatic event, she would feel better about herself. Well, now she had the chance to prevent it before it even happened. Loading her shotgun, the girl began looking around for someone she could ally with. The game had to be cleared, she knew that much, and finding someone strong to help her would only make it easier.

Quickly she found a boy who had walked away from the crowd and summoned a lance. He would be helpful, she was sure of it. She began to walk towards him when something caught her eye, or rather someone. It was a girl, looking rather flustered and edging away from the crowd. That girl looked like she needed help, but more importantly she reminded Emma of how she herself had felt when she was being bullied. Different situations for sure, but she'd remembered trying to edge away, wishing someone would get people away from her and she could be alone. Being alone in the situation they were in was difficult, but maybe Emma could give her a friend and make it easier. Wandering over, she gave a slight wave. "There's no sense running away. No matter how far we run, we're stuck here. It's better to turn and fight, don't you think?" she asked. There was a slight cold edge to her words, but she was genuinely trying to be helpful...she just struggled very much with socialising.

Il Matto watched as the crowd erupted in panic. He laughed, as some of the people beside him started to faint, cry, and shout. He just stood cool, collected, and silent. It was ridiculous to get so worked up. After the Sword Art Online incident, how did they not expect this? All games are like a game of chess, you needed to be more then two steps ahead. And oh, was he ahead all right. Some might win, some will you lose. Of course, this isn't a game that let's a gentleman lose once, or twice, for that matter...

He looked at the <<Weapon Evolution Potion>>. "It's not a good idea to drink this." He said out loud, mostly to himself. "You'd think it would most likely be a trap, an easy way to weed out some of the beginners. Nothing in life comes free you know. I doubt The Creator would just give us something without working for it. Sometimes you need to put out a bigger chess piece on the food chain, in order to catch some of the pawns. That's exactly what he's doing." He smiled cleverly, his voice easy to listen to, and more easy to believe. He was pretty sure he was either spot on, or everything he said had no truth in it. He didn't care, just just wanted to watch them squirm, wondering if the potion would indeed kill them. He wasn't to prey on their doubt, and with all the panic going on, he was sure someone would catch the bait.

To think that this game was actually a breeze, Sylar was struck right into the midst of things....again. He stood there in the Circle of Judgement, the weird sense of deja vu tapping into his most horrifying thoughts of the SAO Incident. No. This couldn't be happening. Not again. His pallor face contorted into a mixture of confusion and anger. He glared up at the area as to where the Creator was once hovering over, and turned on his heel, stalking quickly out of the throng of crying, screaming, raging, gamers who thought this would be a simple VR game. As he walked, Sylar looked at everyone, most screaming bloody murder, other breaking down or panicking otherwise. Sylar let out a 'tch', his eyes narrowing at the mob. They weren't really being smart, if they were to still be here, finding some way out. Most of the the newer Fresh-off-the-boats had no idea what they were up against, but Sylar knew all too well.
All those times, trying to hack out of SAO but with fear for his life lingered in his mind. With no logout button, no one could leave the game of SAO, and this was the same situation all over again. The only way out is to beat the game, no matter what.
He soon encountered another player at the gate, holding a katana, causing Sylar to tread cautiously to the guy's side, afraid that the player might cause a fight. The player, who's name read "SilentBlade" looked about Sylar's age. Sylar was about to pass by him, but stopped. A notion nagged him that though he preferred to work alone, he would need help, some way or another. He decided to talk to him, try to make an ally.

"S'cues me," Sylar began, "I'm unsure if this is really a good time to ask but, are you going to the next town?"

First came the shock. Like Sword Art Online. Those words haunted her as she stepped away from the crowd. Cassandra was not fond of crowds and had positioned herself near the back to escape as quickly as possible. The decision paid off. She began to breathe heavily, clutching the the <<Weapon Evolution Potion>> she had been given tightly. She blinked away unbidden tears and ran. Ran before anyone could find her. Ran before anyone could try and hurt her or kill her or just to get away from the sheer insanity that was about to happen. She knew it. It was a crowd. It was like at home years ago in the riots. They'd all go mad, the crowd would start running and she'd be trampled among the sea of people as nobody, not one cared to pay attention to one lost and scared litt- No! She couldn't afford to think like that now. As soon as she had gone down the street from the plaza a good distance she ducked into an alleyway and panted, taking out her pistol and holding it in her right hand. It's just like Gun Gale Cassandra. Just like Gun Gale. You have your guns. That's all you need to survive out here. Now, deep breaths. Her panicked breathing slowed as she hovered her finger over the trigger, summoning an iron focus that could not be disrupted. She had to have a clear head to fire. She wished that she could bring out her Summon right now. Joan of Arc was a good woman, she knew that from what she had heard of her. She was a woman in a war. Just like her. She would need her guidance. For now, she had work to do. The tipped the potion she got on her Pistol and sure enough, it became a Sniper Rifle. The new weight's sudden appearance came as shock, but it was no matter. It felt just like Gun Gale, the world knew.
"Okay Cassandra... It's time." She furrowed her brow, standing up straight and turning to the alley's exit. "We're going to need a headstart." Cassandra stepped out of the alleyway and sprinted for the exit of the city, seeking the world beyond.

It all came as a surprise, at least at first. It was only natural, because who could see it coming? But the more it all settled in, the more it all hit him, the only thing he could do was grin. Oh, sure, it was pretty bad. He was stuck in a potentially long death game with no way of escaping that he had seen, but who cared? He practically lived VRMMOs anyway. It just rose the stakes by a hundredfold and boy was it worth it. His University degree was totally screwed now, but who cared? His mind cast back to the days of the SAO incident, of how he longed to be living that life of hell and chaos inside the game with no escape except by beating the game. After all, it was the dream life! Just a game to play and the highest stakes of all! The Irishman's smirk only grew wider. He came to this game to find a game that captured the spirit, the je ne sais quoi of Sword Art Online and he had at last found it! It even had the same acronym, could it not have been any more obvious? This entire thing was extraordinary, audacious even. So, he had to do something to match. Julius proudly strutted through the ground, spending his <<Weapon Evolution Potion>> on making his Spear a Halberd. So, I get to be polearm buddies with Cú Chulainn himself. Pretty cool. Then, he approached a nearby statue upon a pedestal. He clambered up, using his newfound Halberd as leverage to help him. When up, he looked down on the crowd and planted his Halberd on to the ground to his right.
"ATTENTION GAMERS!" Julius shouted. "I, AM JULIUS MAXIMUS! AND I COME TO YOU WITH AN OFFER!" He grinned confidently at the crowd. If the creator can be audacious, I too will do something just as audacious!
"WHO AMONG YOU CONSIDER YOURSELVES ELITE? FOR I SEEK YOU! I SEEK VETERAN VRMMO PLAYERS! IF THERE ARE ANY OF THOSE AMONGST YOU, ANY OF YOU WITH PRIDE AND VALOUR, THEN COME STAND WITH ME! FOR WE SHALL WIN THIS GAME TOGETHER!"

Appearing among the crowd unseen, Alpha looked among them, his face expressionless to the sorrows and fear that came across their faces. Those who survived the SAO incident or had family who died within it, they were sure to know the terror that was ahead. It was all a part of the plan however. Already a few people had died in the game because of people and they now would realize their sin for taking this game so casually. Within time though, everyone would understand the terror that was the new SAO. Perhaps though, some would think this was all a facade, that they really couldn't die like in the original SAO. Perhaps they were right, perhaps they were dead wrong.

Glancing over, Alpha could hear a man already calling out to people to clear this game. He had the right idea it seemed. Alpha walked over to join the orange haired enthusiest and continued into the call after words of praise would go to the young man.
"Very well executed. I see you do not fear what the Creator has done. Let us join forces!"

Alpha looked over to the rest of the crowd. He clearly was the biggest liar in this game, but he didn't care at all. He wanted to watch the progress of humanity personally.
"LISTEN EVERYONE. WE CAN BEAT THIS GAME. PEOPLE MANAGED TO BEAT THE DEATH GAME SWORD ART ONLINE. IF WE CAN CREATE A GROUP AND SEARCH THROUGH THE LAND, GATHERING INFORMATION, WE CAN BEAT THIS GAME! WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PROCEED! IF WE JUST SIT AROUND IN FEAR, WE WILL NEVER BE VICTORIOUS!" His voice boomed through the Circle of Judgement. There was not a single person who wouldn't hear his voice. Whether they chose to work with him or not was their call.

She stood there looking at the blank sky that Creator had left from. Star was in this death game once again. First she had found herself in Sword Art Online, a game where she herself was among the higher players in level and skill, a solo player, but eventually falling to the group in need. She had killed players in SAO, Laughing Coffin. Star could only imagine another group like that would form in this world and begin mass murder once again. The idea caused her to fall to her feet.

"Where are you... I need you...." She called out to herself, hoping HE would be in this world. On the other side, Star had never spoken to him about getting this new game, but nor did he. He probably wouldn't be here and she would be all alone, trapped in a game of death.

However, she could hear the call of two players, already embarking on a large group. Star hated groups, but if they were to survive, they would need to join together. Last time there was a clear goal, this time there wasn't. It would be foolish to run out and kill yourself not knowing what was out there. Star moved her way in, looking at the orange haired man as well as the one in blue. She nodded her head towards them, not sating a word, ready to join them in the fight.

Masaru stared in surprise at the announcement, he felt perhaps fear through his body. "No, not again... not after SAO...." Masaru thought in frustration, just when eh thought a Death Game was over, another one started, but what could he do? "....My family's gonna kill me." Masaru thought, he was getting along with Misaki and their relationship was stronger than ever and his parents were so happy to have him back, because of the incident, all SAO survivors had to get their muscles working again as well as proper food since they weren't used for two years straight, and now just when his body was back to it's normal state of being, this had to happen when eh decided to test it out.

"Okay no use worrying about it or else, I'll likely break down and not move at all, let's review... okay this is like SAO except our Administrator is giving us less to work with and no information on to beat the game itself, everyone's likely on level 1 with the cheapest equipment and items possible... Are there Safe Zones in this world or is it a free-for-all? No... I doubt the Creator would dare allow everyone to die on the first floor, he wants this game to be beaten and wouldn't dare do it himself else, it wouldn't be fun." Masaru reasoned and checked his inventory.

"I got everything that the registration has given me, and a free upgrade potion for my weapon... I'll hold onto that for now, it's likely there'll be some skills that exist down the line that could be beneficial... I guess the Singer's Knight has to take up arms once more." Masaru thought and sighed. "I pray she isn't stuck in this game, I haven't even been to a concert yet..." Masaru thought fondly of his in-game wife.

"What?" Masaru said and heard the cry out from the people who were rallying others to their cause and he turned around. "That's a difference compared to the Town of Beginnings." Masaru thought and waded through the people to get a better look at the announcers. "No point in going Solo this time around, not when you don't know what's out there." Masaru thought and he spoke up.

"Well spoken, I couldn't agree more." Masaru said clearly and he came across a sight he never thought he'd lay eyes upon who else had joined the group, she was very familiar and he ran to the woman, he would know her anywhere and whispered under his breath so only she could hear him. "Kari-chan?" Masaru asked in hopeful suspense.

Julius grinned as people came to join his elite crew. The ones who came seemed filled with confidence and the same spirit to beat this game that he had. This was a good sign. He could tolerate no anxiety or weakness in his group of elite players that would conquer the game. He supposed that the best way to do this would be to set up a Guild that they could all play in. The Legio Julius, he decided. It didn't quite fit in with Cú Chulainn as a Summon, he would have done better with Julius Caesar or Pompeius Maximus for that, but it was suitably grand and had an air of elitism to it. However, he would ask that when he had a more definite idea of who would be joining his Legion. Naturally, he would be in command. Imperator. The title sounded perfect. Imperator Julius Maximus and his Centurions. He looked at Alpha intently. Yes. He would make the perfect Primus Centurio. The future commander returned his attention to the crowd before him and continued the momentum of the moment. He had to establish himself as a leading power in this world.
"AND FURTHERMORE, HERE, IN THE SO CALLED CIRCLE OF JUDGEMENT I DECLARE THE FOUNDING OF THE LEGIO JULIUS, WITH ALPHA MY PRIMUS CENTURIO!" Julius looked down at the man he had essentially forced into things. "That is the greatest honour that I, Imperator Julius Maximus may impart upon you as the first player to take up my cause." Now, he just needed to go make the Guild.

Lucas heard someone call out for any Elitists, for anyone who was a veteran at these sort of games. Although he fit the bill he wasn't going to join, instead he wanted to train. If he was going to survive this game he wasn't going to let a bunch of party members steal his experience and slow his leveling. No while they organized their little group he would go train, he would level and surpass them all. He didn't need a team, all he had to do was look out for himself and that was exactly what he was going to do.

Lucas exited the square, calmly walking through the town and to the nearest field that would be good for training in. From there he took his lance and decided to try it out, get used to wielding one. It was a new class for him, that being said he was still going to absolutely kick a** with it without a problem. After all that was kinda what he did, when he wasn't being a bruiting twenty two year old in real life trying to just stay alive and deal with his b*tch of a step mother. Lucas thought back to the conversation that he had with his step mother before entering the game.

"You are starting another one of those stupid games? Why?" Clarice sneered as Lucas prepared his gear to dive into another game.
"I don't expect you to understand so I won't explain it to you." Was all that Lucas stated not even looking up at his step mother.
"If you have money to spend on those stupid games then you can afford to pay for your treatments instead of mooching off your father all the time."
"He gets compensated for my hospital bills, just as I get compensated a small portion due to my inability to work, Clarice."
"Do not call me that! Ma'am would suffice just fine."
"Bite me." Lucas scoffed at her showing no signs of respect as he actually stood up straight and faced her, looking her dead in the eye.
"I am your stepmother and you will respect me." Clarice demanded of him, holding her ground firm.
"You don't deserve my respect." Lucas said looking away once again. He hated to even think of her as his step mother. She was nothing like his real mother. Instead she was manipulative and used his father just to get her way.
"Well if you aren't going to respect me, then why are you here? You get paid enough to move out on your own. Oh wait but then you couldn't buy your stupid games, and that might just kill you sooner than your stupid illness will. You realize they won't be able to cure it, why bother? You are just wasting your fathers time and hard earned money by being alive." A low blow and she knew it too. Lucas wouldn't give her the satisfaction of a reaction though.
"If I could move out I would, I would get as far away as I could from you and your poisonous attitude. But we can't all have our way. You know as well as I do that I can't move out cause I can't do much anymore outside the house. I can't live like that. So you will just have to put up with me for a few more years until I die and then you will be alone and miserable because my father in his grief will realize his mistake in marrying you and leave you." Lucas stated in a cold tone as he sat down on his bed, put the atmosphere on, and was whisked away from his step mother into the fantasy world he so longed to be in.

Recalling on that conversation, and the discussion Clarice was probably going to have with his father when he got home, caused Lucas to push himself harder. Taking out all his anger in training, trying to boost his stats, trying to be the best that there was. Trying to leave a legacy in one of these games before he died. He was going to do it. While the rest of the players teamed up and discussed plans Lucas was going to be here training until he could move forward to the next area, and so on and so forth. All the rage from everything that went wrong in his life, he would turn it into the strength needed to beat this game. He would do it no matter what.

In her tears and hysteria Samantha finally got around to looking at the item that she had gotten when the figure was talking. It was supposed to be something to evolve her weapon right? Samantha opened her menu and selected her weapon so it fell into her lap and stared at it and the potion. She had no idea what to do with the two items. So far in this game all Samantha knew how to do was open the menu. When she started playing she learned that, explored a bit, then intended on logging out before doing anything really. But when she went to log out, it seemed as though she couldn't find the button to do so. Samantha thought she was just too stupid about video games and was not able to find it. She had searched her menu for a good hour before giving up and just sitting in a field for a bit exploring her equipment that she had started with, waiting for someone to come along to ask about the log out button. However that didn't happen before she got teleported to the Circle of Judgement.

While some people were freaking out, others were leaving, while others still were forming teams. But the teams seemed to want people who knew what they were doing. Samantha did not. This was a problem given she had no idea what to do or where to go. She was going to die here just like Seth died in SAO. There was no way with her lack of knowledge of video games that she would survive long, especially since no where seemed to be safe for her to stay. So Samantha stayed kneeling on the ground, tears still soaking her face, staring at the bow and the potion in her lap, trying to figure out what she was supposed to do with the items. How they actually worked.

Kat looked over at the girl who approached her and spoke to her. She immediately shook her head and replied, "I-I'm not running away... I'm getting away from the larger group... I don't belong with them. And those guys cheering for the elite to join, I don't belong either. I don't have experience with VRMMOs..." Kat understood how MMORPGs worked, she'd been there and done that before. She's even used VRgames before and understood the technology. No matter how much studying she did she couldn't prepare herself for this.

    Kat pulled out her
<<Weapon Evolution Potion>> and drank it for a second and pulled out her dagger and watched it transform into a rapier right in front of her eyes. She examined it for a moment before putting it away and breathing out and saying, "I don't think staying here any longer is going to be much help... I don't think people here are going to offer help to newbies... maybe I just need to go..." and she looked ready to run.

Tessa reached out and took her brother's hand, tightly squeezing it as the people around them began to react in different ways. She herself wanted to cry, to scream and shout. She wanted to pound her fists against the ground and ask why, why this had happened. But she couldn't. She had to remain strong for Bryce, for her younger brother.

She clenched her pistol tightly with her other hand, wishing with all her might that she could have shot the ******* who had done this. But he was gone, and she was left here, with her brother amongst the masses of people. What now?

Bryce held his sister's clammy hand tightly. She was afraid, he could sense it. She would also never admit her fear. She felt she had to be strong for him, to be the mother that he had never had. He would rather keep her as his sister, fighting side by side with her through the virtual world.

Instead of focusing on the enemy that had trapped them here, he looked around. Desperation made people do strange things, and if someone was going to attack out of desperation for their gear, he would be ready. Tessa's safety was the priority, above all else.

Alpha looked over to the boy who gave out the strange name for a group. He shook his head sighing towards the name. The boy was optimistic, full of enthusiasm. These were good things to have when you were in a game fighting for your very life not to be taken away from you. "Perhaps that name is a bit... too egotistical, wouldn't you say?"

He appreciated the offer of being the man's number two, but that was not in his intention at all. Luckily, he hadn't a clue of how to start a guild. It was different then SAO or ALO. It was much much more simple to do in this game. Alpha opened up his menu and slid on a few keys, creating a guild. The invite would then be sent to those who had stepped up to join. On their screen's they would see the message:

<<Accept the Guild Request to Summoned Knights?>>

This should be adequate enough for them all.
"I found this earlier when going through the menus. For now, it might be best to see everyone in the guild as an equal until we can get a grasp on what the conditions are for this game." It was a complete lie. He knew exactly where it was because he designed it this way. "I also recommend we do some leveling first. I wasn't able to find any quests in the town, but a little north, there are some Goblin's. Their might not be any quests in the game. That is a unique choice for an MMO..."

After hearing the name and squinting a little bit for it, a noise caught her ear. It was warm, comforting, and of all soothing. She didn't feel afraid anymore when she heard his voice. However, what was once caressing soon became agony. He called out to her in the nickname he had given her so long ago. Her real name. She looked over to see the man whom she married in the original SAO.

"Masaru-kun!? You idiot! Why would you come into this game!?" She yelled out to him, only to quickly run into him and hold onto him tightly, tears were forming. It was much harder to hide emotions in the VRMMO space. "I'm so happy to see you though. I was never able to find you after the Black Swordsman beat the game. Finally I'm with you again, my Singer's Knight."

It was true that they never got the chance to meet in the real world. The rehabilitation was difficult on them both and soon after, the idol known as Hikari Hoshi was booked with interviews. She was soon to host a concert for her second coming. She even found Masaru's address to send VIP tickets. The concert was in a week. Sadly it was going to have to be canceled this time around. At least the fans had her newest album.

Finally, the icon for the guild popped up to her side. The man's name was Alpha. It somehow seemed familiar but she couldn't really bother with it right now. She clicked the yes button. Before she would be hesitant, but she knew now that Masaru was with her, this game, this death game was going to be possible to live in.

Somehow, the crowd was subsiding....somewhat. Most were beginning to create guilds right off the bat, much quicker to develop before SAO. Sylar, intent on seeing where this was going, decided to stick around for a bit, still slightly tense. Since <SilentBlade> seemed to be lagging, he decided to find a different ally, slipping through the crowd. He walked through the throng of people, some still crying, others in a heated discussion. Sylar drifted for a while until he stood in front of a girl who was kneeling while crying. There was a bow and a <<Weapon Evolution Potion>> in her lap. Sylar's guess was that she didn't know what to do with the two. He trudged silently to her, looking at the name. <Seth's Angel>. The name made Sylar tilt his head with curiosity. Had she been part of the original SAO incident? And if so, how many more were here, trapped in the same living nightmare from years ago? He kneeled to her, quietly asking, "Do you need a little help? Or have you given up?"

Masaru had to give a small chuckle in his head as Hikari scolded him briefly before running to embrace him and he caught her, arms wrapped around her frame as she freely cried, her outburst soon forgotten as her tone soon turned to happiness and the nickname that was given to him and Masru had to blush a bit. "I know, I'm a idiot but I thought the Amusphere's specifications would ensure that another Death Game wouldn't happen again, and you know how that turned out." Masaru said and received a Guild Invitation.

Now Masaru never saw the reason to join a Guild in SAO before since the Knights of the Blood Oath were many in number to clear the game with most of the Clearers signed up in there while a Solo Player could get more experience by himself as well as more success in getting drops or Last Attack bonuses, plus, Star was his personal Blacksmith and it didn't seem thye ahd that option, plus the Amusphere didn't transfer data from the NerveGear and he doubted this game could even allow transferred accounts, he noted Hikari immediately accept her invitation to the Guild and he too accepted it.

"Right now, it's best if everyone works together than go off alone." Masaru thought, but he didn't dare speak out loud like the previous two Players, right now he was much more content with holding Hikari..

"I wonder if there's a marriage system like in SAO?" Masaru thought to himself, it was nice to share inventory as well as with Hikari's blacksmith skills, she would create swords to be used in the event one would break while out in the field since he had access to her stuff and she, his.

"And there's no Black Swordsman or Lightning Flash this around... this'll be a bit tougher than ever." Masaru thought and remembered the day SAO was cleared, around 6000 people were teleported out of Aincrad with 4000 dead within the two years trapped in the game, people wondered if they ever could escape, but the Clearers did reach floor 75 so the end goal was in sight, but how much stronger the Floor Bosses were in those floors, it was unknown.

Alpha437 soon reached the city's edge. A sign said that she was at the North Gate. Luckily, it wasn't too far to go otherwise she would have been too exhausted to do anything. With the crowd safely behind her, she walked out into the wider road along a road that led out of town. Where? She had no idea. But did that matter especially right now? It didn't. Right now, she just wanted to get a level or two ahead before she returned to town. That way, people would either ask her for advice or leave her alone. She wanted to avoid any trouble and nobody would bother her if she was too high a level for them to handle. Even the idea of being a level or two ahead at this stage made a lot of difference to perception. As she walked, she stopped when she crested a hill and looked around her. Even though it wasn't terribly high, she could already see an infinite digital horizon in front of her. In a sudden burst of inspiration, she hefted the Sniper Rifle and looked down the scope. The distance seemed to go on and on even through that. This truly was a real world to live in. How far did it go, she wondered. Her introspective done, she continued on in her search for something of worth to find and preferably kill. After all, levelling up waited for no one.

"I see.. That's how it is then? No matter!" Julius jumped down off his makeshift podium and looked at Alpha. He had spotted the motion of hitting something in the air. So, the Guild option was in the menu somewhere? Very good. He would make his Guild eventually. First, it looked as if he was destined to be alone until he got stronger and earned the respect to run a Guild, so they all acknowledged him as a master. "We shall meet again, Mr Alpha. Do not think the Legio Julius defeated before it even begins. No, it shall be made. Simply not now. Mark my words... You'll see. And thanks for the tip." With that, he opened up the map to get direction to go North. As he strutted away with his Halberd over his shoulder, he explored the menus, flicking through options. Aha. There. This will be useful later. He had found the option to make a Guild, but he would not use it yet. Hmm, he needed to make it to at least level five before other people figured that he meant business, level ten for ultimate respect. Besides, Mr Greek Alphabet made a good point there- He did need to get XP and the Guild would only slow him down.

There it was. A message from the creator himself. One that would shake the very foundation of the world that they lived in, or rather, changed what the world they lived in was. Jackyl just kind of stood there in awe as the message was declared, having it set in on her in a bit more time than it took most others. As everyone else was beginning to panic, shove everyone else around, scream, cry and what ever else people do during a panic, Jackyl just stood there with a blank expression on her face as he hands were beginning to tremble.

This was it. This was the SAO event all over again. Everything that had happened then was happening now, only with a few differences that ninety percent of the RPers have already pointed out, so I shan't reiterate them. As the entirety of the horror had finally set in on Jackyl, she took a deep breath as she clenched her hands into fists to calm them. The very next thing she did was throw her fists into the air, letting out a
"Wahoo!" of sheer joy, as the idea of this being reality had finally set in.

She wasn't dreaming. Her life was actually a video game. Talk about bad-ass. She had been super disappointed when she had missed the whole SAO thing years back, but here she was. Living out the dream. She looked back to her hands as she brought them down, seeing them tremble with excitement. Man, this was just too good. As she looked at her menus, she saw that she had some swords at the ready to use, as per her preference of swording things up, and recalled that the creator said something about a weapon upgrade potion. Well she should definitely get to using that. However, as she was about to go and apply it, her attention was caught by some verbose person speaking out about creating a party of the elite of the elite, players who were awesome and stuff.

Well, Jackyl was certainly not new to this whole VRMMO, but at the same time she was definitely new to this new game. So she'd hardly consider herself elite. Maybe average, but there really wasn't much to scale off of at this point in time, so she'd pass on the elite party hi-jinks. No, instead she'd wander the world herself, and create a party of people who may or may not suck at this whole thing, creating a naturally forming RPG party to go on her grandscale adventuring tales with. Or she'd die really fast while being unable to fight a boar. Either or.

She briefly wondered if she was in the middle of something before her tangential thought, but thought nothing of it and instead just sort of decided to get going on her grandscale adventure through this brand and brave new world. As such, she sauntered her way through the panicking and crying and screaming area that was The Circle of Judgement, and got on a road going out of the area to what she could only assume would lead her to Viridian City. Letting out a deep breath she pointed to the horizon as she said,
    "onward!" and started marching onward.

As Samuel was about to leave, he was approached by a boy. <Hades> was his username. He had asked if Samuel was going to the next town or not, to which Samuel simply replied with "Nope", ever the socialist. It appeared the boy had picked up on Samuel's willingness to speak, because the next thing Samuel knew he was walking away to go and speak with another girl. Following the boy's movements with his eyes, the swordsman watched as he walked over and said something to the girl, kneeling beside her. It seemed the girl was having some issues, sitting there with her weapon evolution potion and her bow next to her. Samuel tried to turn away and keep going towards the forest outside of town, but he couldn't. It was clear the girl needed help, and <Hades> only seemed interested in conversation. Why did people enjoy talking so much? Either way, if he abandoned the girl to survive on her own, what would be the difference between leaving her to die and finishing her off himself?

Walking over, Samuel also knelt down and then gently took the <<Weapon Evolution Potion>>. "You pour it over your weapon. Like this, see?" he asked, pouring the potion onto the bow and watching as it transformed. He forced a friendly grin, though he was by no means feeling happy. "This your first VRMMO? You might want to find a group or something and stick with them. This game is dangerous, and the sooner you find someone who can help you the sooner you'll be safe, and then we can all work together and beat this thing, right?" he asked. God he hated talking to people. Why did he torture himself so?

Emma stared at the girl, Kat, for a moment. It was like the girl had taken the words right out of her mouth. Emma herself was worried about....well, everything really, she just hadn't actually said it. "If people are going to leave someone to fend for themselves in a world like this, they aren't the people you want to hang around with. Just gotta stick it out, mate, and everything will work out. My name's Emma, what's yours? Or would you prefer I call you LovelyEyes?" the girl asked, trying to be as reassuring as possible. She'd sure like it if someone helped her out like that, so she figured it would help.

Kat thought about it and shook her head saying, "No no. My name is Kat. It's nice to meet you Emma... though I wish it was under better circumstances." and she held out her hand as if to shake it before saying, "Um... I know it might seem strange to jump to immediately but would you like to party up for a while? I'm not interested in joining a Guild right now but I think I watched enough of the demoing to figure out how to party up... I know it might take longer to level up that way but I think if we've got each other's backs we can make it." she brought up a menu as she said it looking more at her inventory but having everything up and ready to send a request if she agreed.
