"Well, he's where I get my pride. That Son of A Betch doesn't know anything. He doesn't deserve pride." Kasha said, she was annoyed. She kept her arms crossed, leaning against the wall. "I bet he came because he needs money. So he's going to lean on me. I don't have money either. I spent it all getting an apartment, and things that I need."

 

"You mean like...with a baby?" Turk said after a large gulp. "Because you know sometimes the food here makes you bloated."

 

*gasp* Carla slapped Turk "and for your information, yes i'm pregnant-with a baby... YOUR baby"

"i'm usually not the one to give advice especially parental advice but isn't it about time you talk with him?... but if you choose not to then that's your choice"

 

"He needs help. He'll go off and kill himself from drinking. I don't want that to happen." She said, narrowing her eyes and looking at the door as she talked. "I can do it. But..." Kasha started, and trailed off, "He won't listen to me. He's drunk now. Almost anyway. I can smell it so well. I hate that smell."

 

Turk let out a small groan and fell back. Most likely unconscious from shock.

 

"TURK!... well then if that's how you feel, then FINE!"

Carla walked away in tears

"I know what you mean, when I was 6 my father got drunk and used me as an ash tray, I still have the scar to prove it"

 

Kasha pinched the top of her nose and shut her eyes tightly shaking her head. "I'm going to die of stress, aren't I?" She said mostly to herself.

 

Elliot: hey Kasha, look I'm gonna try and cheer you up kay? wanna go get some dorito's or make fun of the doctor with the foot printed face?

 

"Whoah-" Kasha looked around, with a questioning look on her face. "Where'd you come from?" She asked Elliot, and looked at her. She knew that Elliot had asked a question but didn't answer. 'No thanks.' Was all she could think.

 

"I was with Carla just now, she told Turk she was pregnant and he fainted, see he's still on the floor"

Elliot pointed to a knocked out Turk on the floor, while Dr. Cox kept stepping on him for the heck of it

 

Kasha used the opportunity that was right there. Elliot had her back turned and Perry was busy stepping on Turk. She got out of there as soon as possible. She left the room and found Dr.Pepper and requested the X-ray, Kasha headed back to her Patient's room, she tried to relax herself, she didn't want to get the wrong impression off to her patient that something was wrong for him.

 

"hey, I haven't seen you in a while" Nathan said to Kasha

 

"Sorry about that." Kasha said to Nathan. "I scheduled an x-ray appointment for you. He won't be able to give you an x-ray till five, okay?" Kasha said to Nathan.

 

"somethings wrong, I can tell"

 

"Nothing is wrong. You have a broken arm, thats the only problem." Kasha said, she had almost snapped at Nathan but somehow managed to keep calm and not show any aggravation at all in her voice.It certainly annoyed her thought.

 

'it's okay, you can snapp at me if you want, if it helps with what ever you're going through then go ahead give it to me"

 

Kasha felt her blood rise, he was really getting to her last nerve. "I'll be back at four thirty, okay?" She said calmly, Kasha looked out through the door. Her father was standing a good distance away but Kasha could imagine herself going there and slamming him against the wall and chasing him out of the hospital. She turned and headed out through the doors, heading towards her father. He smelled strongly of whiskey and scotch. He looked at Kasha, he had an old look in his eyes. It saddened Kasha.
"Dad, you need help." Kasha said, her father looked like he was about to say something nice for once but she knew immediately that would change. It did...

"Screw off!" Her father yelled to Kasha, she could tell he was ready to strike out at her. He wasn't listening to her.
"Dad, you need help."
"Liar..." Her father moaned, he was in pain. Probably a hangover.

"Dad," Kasha started again, and he suddenly lashed out at her, Kasha dodged it easily, he was having choppy moves since he was drunk to some extent. He swore at Kasha and made her loose her patience.

"Get out!" Kasha said and lunged forward at her father as a threat, he took it, it seemed to knock some sense into him, even though she hadn't hit him. Her father got out of there as fast as possible.

 

Elliot held kasha back

"it's okay, hes gone, it's over"

Dr. Cox: listen to Barbie, it's gonna be okay-and oh my gawd what am I saying, pull yourself together cox you're showing weaknes"

"don't you have somewhere else to be right now?"

Dr. Cox shook his head

 

Kasha gritted her teeth tightly together and sighed shaking her head. Her body relaxed and she crossed her arms looking at the ground. "I know." She said. "I know..." She repeated more quietly.
