....... J-Pop singer you say called Ayumi? ....... ! OH! I know her! ^^ I saw her in one of the Korean gameshows a long time ago! XD I like the sig! ^^ The bright and dark colors mix with her clothing. ^^ *purrs* Good job!
I like the first one better, it looks more like a higher quality image, like the second one is the original image and the first one is a higher quality one, with more brightness and colour. But don't get me wrong, I like the second one also, I think you did a really good job, well done =]
Well for starters, too much negative space. Mae a light source where she's staring. The colors look good, and this is a good start, but put a bit more wok into the empty space on the left.
stick with v1, the lighting makes it look good, but near her left shoulder,(right Shoulder from the screen point of view), tone down the contrast, & brighten up the paths, or pentooling, whatever its called in what you use, and on her face tone down the contrast a bit, but not too much, you are really good at this. Nice Tag.
