The Sonic fandom is more annoying by and far, even you have to admit that. Not only is it more vocal and lower quality (lower standards in the fandom, especially for art), but the perversion side of it and its contribution to the furry population have made it one of the most disgusting things to think about. Of course furries will jump on anything involving animals, but you can scarcely run a search on Sonic without finding something sexual in nature.

MLP:FiM, on the other hand, has many positive aspects of the community that far outweigh the bad. You can always focus on the one bad to demonize it, but the many good things (art especially) mean that there are things with less merit all over the place as far as fandoms go.
