ok in the deep jungle u know how u show tarzan the slideshow? well when sora sees the castle its familiar to him. do u think that it might have something to do with his theoretical connection 2 ven?

 

I always thought it was because Kairi's heart was inside of him, so he had a memory that was originally hers.

I don't think so, hmm I think that everyone is looking too deep into KH2 to find links to the coming game, I agree with what the others have said, I think it was a more "in game" link between Kairi and Sora.​

Yeah, I also thought this too. We can't even be sure Ven was from the castle, but know Kairi was.

I don't think they were sure they were doing KHII yet when they created KH because they weren't positive about how popular the game would be. I believe it definitely has to do with the fact that Kairi's heart was inside him, although they probably could have made that clearer. So yes, nothing that has to do with BBS, I think.

That castle is Hollow Bastion. Since Kairi was raised there, and Sora had Kairi's heart, he could remembered the castle.
