    starting from where? Because you can either start from the very beginning, from when they aired the very first episode....or you can be like me and just start from modern times with the 9th doctor and Rose Tyler

    I'd do what I usually do when I watch a new series. Watch episode one, and then pick and choose the coolest looking ones from then on to the present, and after I've basically caught up, go back and watch the episodes I missed.

    Starting from episode one of the modern series would likely appeal most to you, since the older series is fairly dated when compared to modern special effects. The Cybermen, for example, went from this;

    Low blow. I already said that the original Star Trek was only superior because of its unintentional hilarity. Next Generation was far better if you're looking for a genuine show to watch. Plus; Patrick Stewart. How can I argue with that?
