this happens to me all the time, do you bite your lip during the day, or get dry, chapped lips? your lips dry out during the night then they crack. I find it quite enjoyable. I'm easily dehydrated and what-not, so my lips dry out all the time (living in a high mountain desert doesn't help neither)
