I don't know why it's so bad to lose to a girl. We can do just as much as guys, if not in different ways. So she beat you, so what? Girl on my soccer team could kick the other team's ass no problem.

I think things have changed really. I see a ton of wussy guys and some pretty strong girls. Of course, I see really tough guys and really wimpy girls too, but the point is that years ago, you wouldn't have because women weren't allowed to do really physical stuff.

I have lost some fencing matches to women and don't really think anything of it other than 'damn she's good'. I haven't really lost martial arts competitions to a girl since I was like 15 but I know a few girls who kick some ass and we have fun sparring, and they do give me a run for my money because they are so lithe. Of course, I don't really take karate or those others where you wear padding etc. and such so the tournaments we do is full contact, which switches up stuff some. I always get kicked out of karate tournaments. :(

 

This is kind of sad, and yet terribly frightening at the same time.

Yeah.. Shaolin and Ju jitsu aren't very 'fair' and some moves are rather instinctive if there's an opening.. after all this time. lol. The only thing I am really allowed to do anymore at 'open martial arts' tournaments is to do forms with weapons. :(
