I never understood that mine stuff, I' ve beaten Vanitas Remnant head on with all three characters.
I did beat MF with Terra (lucky, lucky me), but I don' t know anyone who owns the game so no PvP for me. ;_;

 

Now how much time did you spend grinding/trying to beat him?

 

Thunder or fire surge, and lots of them. These get rid of the billion clones that appear pretty well, plus long range too. Don't forget your curaragagagagas as well. It's hardest with Terra because he has a stupid vulnerable gap between dash spams. Also, DO NOT have any of the offensive magic ability dashes (pretty and awesome as they are), as you loose your invulnerability for dashes. Good luck :D
