I've got to sum up my entire life into less than half a page. [I've only been able to come up with the opening line... <.<]
Rule of thumb on most people's writing. About 1/3 of what you write is good. About 1/3 of what you write should just be tossed. And about 1/3 of what you right can be salvaged. So it is best to write more than you need (1.5 to 3 times as long) and the scratch stuff out. If nothing else in this case it stops the writer's block of trying to make it fit in the lines. Worry about size constraints later.
Yeah, I did that always with my English essays, especially since we had a ridiculously low word count (c. 250 words). I've made some progress! I've managed to almost enter junior high by now! (Before you wonder, I was off a comp for some hours, I'm not that slow...)
That took me longer to connect the dots than it should have. I was just sitting here for a second going "There is no way you are that young" Then it clicked and I felt stupid. But yeah, that is really all the advice I've got. You are plenty smart enough to write a decent paper, and with it being personal and not research I can't assist with content. I'll read if you want to ***** and moan though. Good luck.
But that only covers the last three years ;_; I don't think Theater school appreciates only three years of my life. Oh xD Sorry 'bout that. Naww, this is for a university entrance pre-exam assignment... Thanks for the advice anyway, it's been quite helpful really ^^'' I'd do that, but I doubt you know Finnish, so it wouldn't really help... Now, I need to gtfo KHV and actually write the damn thing xD
Suppose we could change it to this: "This is my story. And you're not apart of it. YET. BUT IF YOU LIKE MY SNAZZY ESSAY, YOU CAN BE! :B"
"Hi there! I'm epic. Without me, you will fail. >:3" Big letters, with the smiley on the end. It's to the point and you don't have to discuss the intricate details of your life :3
