Chain of Memories Some people think that Marluxia is gay. How bout you?

why would he be gay? because he likes flowers and his hair is pink?, well he would not suffer this fate if Square did not do a last minute change on his gender <_>

I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this allready but...Marluxia only LOOKS so gay because he was originally supposed to be a girl xD...but when normura finnaly came to decide that Xemnas probably wouldn't leave a woman in charge of castel oblivion he changed Marluxia from a woman to a very muscular man with Fluffy pink Hair. xD

I Think Marley is AWESOME. xD

All I know is, there are some pretty hilarious cartoons of him online.
With his pink hair and 'flower power,' he seems to be an effeminate character regardless.

 

I don't believe he's gay. even though he has no heart and therefore cannot feel love. Maybe it's because I like him paired with Larxene, and also because my birthday is 12/11. I dunno. -_-

 

He's not gay because he happens to use flowers as his power, or that the flowers are pink. I don't like pink, but i'm not a guy, so it works. I don't think he's gay, because first of all, it's a kid's game, and they probably dont' want to incorporate that kind of thing in there. At the same time, I find it amusing that their little group is all male, except for Larxene

What does his pink hair and petals have to do with his sexuality?

 

For the purposes of sexy-yaoi-time I like to think "Yes, he is gay. Gay and uke.". Then then I think the same with L from Death Note (Please, like anyone that cute can be straight XD ) and Iruka from Naruto (Unless there's an Anko around, then he's just bi <_< >_> ).

But in reality he's a Nobody. He doesn't have emotions to use to emotionally connect to any gender. Yes, you could argue that he still has a body so he could be physically attracted to males. But do you really think that Square and Disney would come up with that? Well, Square might but Disney would squash it dead. Personally I believe that Marly is one of the more masculine of the Org, he's just beautiful with it.

And, to reiterate someone else's point: Pink is in fact a masculine colour in Japan. A very masculine colour seeing as sakura blossoms are the symbol of a fallen samurai warrior (or so I've heard anyway).

Then finally, I agree with whoever it was that said Axel is the gayest Org member XD "He was the only one I liked... he made me feel as though I had a heart"
Though Demyx is a bit camp, well... very camp. But that doesn't mean he's gay.

 

I think there is a possibility that he is gay, but we don't really have any solid proof that he is gay.
However, I think he is gay because he was originally supposed to be a woman... and Nomura had him still act like a woman...

 

Wow, Marluxia is not gay at all. Just because his favorite color is pink, doesn't make him gay.

 

Neither meterosexuality or effeminate does not make a guy gay.

Also, it wouldn't matter one damn bit if he was gay or not.

Now, as stated I-don't-know-how-many-times before, Marluxia was originally meant to be a girl, which explains why his name is feminine, his association with flowers and the color pink.

Not to mention that in the original Chain of Memories, his hair was actually brown.

 

You'd be amazed at how many straight men have obsessions over flowers.

The pink hair is the only reason to debate if he's gay or not.

 

Well there are many kh characters that have looked gay...like riku wearing that "darkness" dress and sora being raped by donald and goofy at the end of KH2...its just something square does I guess?

 

Yeah, as people have said hundreds of times, 'he' was originally intended to be a woman. And a woman trapped in a man's body isn't just simple homosexuality.

Really, I think it takes a man very confident in his manliness to have pink hair and chop people up with razor flowers.
