I haven't noticed a whole alot of dramaduring my time here, although that may be, in part, due to the fact that I'm oblivious to alot of stuff anyways. xD

Anyways, de-rep is overly abused for the reasons you gave and more. Somebody once de-repped me because I posted that I eat chicken hearts. (Yes, I really do.) And all that was commented was "Ewwwwwww....." Maybe that person was too cowardly to tell me straight out that he/she thought it was gross. And I would've accepted it all the same. My culture is different than the American lifestyle. But de-repping for absolutely no good reason is pointless and that can cause some drama because the person de-repping ends up sounding like a jerk, then a fight breaks out, and then everyone suffers because it's anonymous. And that was my two cents. Thanks for posting that essay Repliku, it was much needed.

Reminding people that drama going on doesn't seem like a good solution either, but at least you said everything all of us need to hear.

    Good Job.

Thank you for this Repliku, I can't say I've noticed any of this with my level of activity on the site but I do believe you thought it was worth writing an essay over and so it's another reason why I'm getting that much closer to just calling you Mister Paid-by-the-Word.

    yup

people here tend to dramatize too much.

if you want drama, thats what real life is for, not the interwebz.

of course if someone gets offended, we help them, but dont go flaming on the person who did it.

i was talking about this the other day on msn.

i mean, try not to take things too personal.

and if a staff member, isnt responding you...because he doesnt feel like it(wich, btw, should NOT be the case)

    go to another one.

That did not clear up the storm....
but I see some rays of light coming through.

Thanks Repliku. Whatever respect I had for you increased by 9000. (Yes, I have a respect-o-meter).

But seriously, I think that the more people that read this, the more we can all strive to doing what you wrote. Im not going to go say like, "OMG THIS IS GODLY AND WE MUST ALL BOW DOWN." but I definately believe there is some alot of truth to this, so a pat on the back for you.

Now all we need to do is to get the dumb people somehow to read this.
Maybe put some parts in bold so they dont get bored and leave...and maybe put this in the discussion area, XD.
