I've given a few people new rep gems before. I'm more proud of those occasions that I turn someone' grey gem red though.

 

:D sometimes I feel bad when I see people with red gems, so I positive rep them to make them green. Especially if they are newbs.

You're not paranoid. I accidentally de-repped a guy named Hayabusa when I meant to posirep him. He kindly asked why I nega-repped him instead of derepping me in return.

I still rep him whenever I can as ways of an apology.
