He giggles.
She mewed in her sleep.

 

He put his wife down next to their son and curled up around them.

 

"Everything all right?"

 

"Yes. Why do you ask?"

 

"I just heard Jericho crying."

 

"He didn't know I could change forms."

 

"That's odd." He lies down on his stomach with Seph right next to him.

 

He put his head on a wing.

 

"How come I didn't know about that?"

 

"I suppose you couldn't sense my scent."

 

"What scent?"

 

"My own unique scent."

 

"I still don't get it."

 

"Everyone has their own scent and I'm guessing you can't sense them yet."

 

"How come?"

 

He mentally shrugged.

 

He began pulling the cat's fur.

 

"Just pet her. Pulling on fur hurts."

 

"How do you pet?"

 

"Gently put your hand on her and move it back."
