"You weren't drooling with the cookies. I'll make a steak for you if you want."

 

She stands up then walks over to the bathroom.
He nods.

 

He followed her. He summoned a human and killed it before cutting out a slab of flesh.

 

"What is the point of eating your prey when there's no thrill of hunting?"
She stops then turns her head slightly but still not making eye contact. "I need some alone time."

 

He obediently went back to their room. "If you want to get killed by the enemies that we now know are watching this castle, then be my guest."

 

"Enemy?"
She locks the door then cries her hardest.

 

He didn't answer as he poured the blood onto the flesh.

 

"When did you find out about this?"

 

"Just after I bit into my steak. Any seasonings you want on it?"

 

"Any would be fine."

 

He took the cap off a bottle and sprinkled it over it.

 

He gazes out the window longingly.

 

"What's wrong?" He asked as he noticed him.

 

"Luana's cry reminds me of a wolf's. They cry from their heart." He answered without looking at him.

 

He set the steak above a low fire spell before walking over to his side and hugging him.

 

He looks at him surprised. "What's that for?"

 

"You seem depressed."

 

He places his hand over his scar. "I had been a long time."

 

"Since Luana left you?"

 

"Yeah. Nothing compares to her."
