"Then I guess traitors run in my blood." She snatches Sephana from Ocean and leaves.
"Papa!" She cries out to Sephiroth.

 

"Go on with your traitorous mother." He said coldly.

 

She places light on her mother then hurries back to her father. "I rather stay with you. My loyalty lies with only you."

 

"I'm not your father, so why do you care?"

 

She hisses.
"I don't care if I'm not your daughter. That is because I knew you are a person who cares. My so-called mother wants nothing but attention out of you and I love my siblings that were raised by you."

 

"I'm nothing but a naive fool who trusts too easily." He said as he stood up, causing Garnet to slide to the ground.

 

She wakes up before she hits the floor and hurries after her father.
"Big bro, what now?" She whines as she scratches the door.

 

He opened it and held his arms out to her. He sat on the edge of the cloud with his legs dangling off the side. "What am I doing falling in love again?"

 

She wraps her tail around her father. "I'm not sure either. But I guess everyone was yearning to feel it."
She hugs him. "Papa rejected me!"

 

He rubbed her back. He chuckled without humor as he looked at his shaking hands. "Weapons of war aren't meant to know love."

 

She holds his hands in hers. "I can be used as a weapon as well as you, but why do you think I know love?"
Mei nudges her pups to their aunty.
She buries her face into his chest.

 

She pushed back behind her mother. "You weren't made, you were born."

 

She nuzzles Raja, assuring she won't force anymore out of her.
"Yet, I was born to be like you. A weapon."

 

"Nonsense. You were just our daughter. I was a guinea pig."

 

"It wasn't like I had a choice. No matter what you do, I will remain faithfully by your side. Children usually needs help from their parents. I believe it is my turn to return the favor."

 

"And it is because of that help I need that I get betrayed."

 

She kisses him on the cheek. "Luana just jumps to conclusions and has a temper. We can make her so you weren't betrayed in the first place."

 

"She'll just betray me again and again."

 

"And I'll do whatever it takes to keep you happy."

 

"You sound just like her. How do I know you won't betray me next?"
