She clutches her mark. "Is everything ok papa?"

 

"That didn't answer my question."

 

She shrugs. "It was well worth a try. Do I have to take down my rival to get to you?"

 

"What part of 'I'm gone from you forever' don't you understand?"

 

"The first thing I open my eyes was you and all I ever see in my mind is you! I want to take everything back, Sephiroth. If you don't have me, then death can take me with open arms!!" She bursts into tears as an angry child into a tantrum.

 

"Me, me , me, me. If all you care about is me, then why do you insult me and push away parts of me?"

 

She stops crying. "I get fed up and smothered by your unconditional love sometimes."

 

"You want me to love you, but you don't. Which is it?"

 

"I want you to love me, Sephiroth."

 

"Well, too bad."

 

"Are you positively sure? I'll wipe out my existence so much that Mei doesn't have a mate."

 

He clenched his hands into fists and could feel blood oozing between his fingers.

 

"Well? What is it father?"

 

He looked down with his lashes hiding his eyes.

 

"Stop stalling."
Feeling his distress of uncertainty, she wraps her tail around them completely and teleports to her father. "Papa, what's wrong?"

 

"This traitor wants me to get back together with her or she'll kill herself and Orochi in the process."

 

"No! Not Orochi!"
"Correction, me and my children."

 

His shoulders slumped as his head lowered further in defeat. "Fine." He said in a voice barely louder than a whisper.

 

She mewled happily as she embraces both Garnet and her husband.
She glances at her father, knowing his fate is sealed then places a hand on his cheek.

 

He cried silently, making sure his body didn't make the slightest tremble.
