He snorted. "She means nothing to me. I want her blood spilled on my hands."

 

"You're going to have to wait in line for that and I'm not about to give up my spot."

 

"Then what about Zack?"

 

"What about him? We won't let you harm him if that's what you're asking."

 

"If you awaken me just to torture this body then I might as well sleep."

 

"My style is mental torture, you of all people should know that."

 

"Then what do I have to do so I can hunt again?"

 

"Apologize for misbehaving and beg to be set free of course."

 

"I apologize for my rude behavior and could you please set me free Master?"

 

He released him from the chains and petted his head. "Good boy."

 

He growls in content. "What are your rules that I must obey, Master?"

 

"Why don't you read your host's mind to find out?"

 

He checks each one carefully then nods. He hands his Master a medallion. "This is to summon me while I'm in bloodlust mode. Telepathy gets blocked during that time."

 

He attached it to a chain and put it around his neck.

 

He heads out to the castle's grounds.

 

He stroked Garnet's hair.

 

She stirs then looks up at him. "Did I miss anything while I was asleep?"

 

"Not really other than my puppet's bloodlust demon taking him over."

 

She tilts her head. "That weak puppet has a demon?"

 

"Apparently yes."
