"He's quite possessive of her."

 

"I know. But I want to know why she's behaving weird in front of her husband."

 

"Then do it without touching her."

 

He calls her name repeatedly.

 

He grabbed one edge of the hole and pulled the upper half of his body up while coughing to get the mako out of his lungs.

 

"Sorry Sephiroth, she won't respond to me either." He said as he helps his friend.

 

"Ugh, I hate resurrection by mako." He said as he coughed the last of it out of his body and wrapped a darkness blanket around himself.

 

"Garnet wanted me to hold on to this. What is this materia?"

 

"That's Cloud's soul. I managed to grab it and my wedding ring on the way out of that accursed black hole."

 

"I can understand your ring, but why bring Cloud too? For all we know, his bloodline will destroy us."

 

"He's still my puppet. Besides, don't you want to beat him up more?"

 

"That's true... "
"Papa!" She hugs him tightly.

 

He wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled her head.

 

She purrs happily as she nuzzles in return.

 

He sighed as he pulled away. "I hope whatever's wrong with Luana is fixed soon."

 

She lowers her head. "Mom was crying a lot after meteor was summoned. I think by then she has gone blind. She wants to believe you are still in the Lifestream even though you are here, papa."

 

"So..she doesn't care about me at all?"

 

"I'm not sure. Ask her yourself."

 

He wrapped his arms around Luana and pulled her into his lap. "Please snap out of it, Honey."

 

She wakes up to find her mother not there then begins to panic as her arms flail around. "Mother? Mother!"
