Sora's Darkness V3

He looked over at a bush when he heard a rustling and a muffled sob coming from it. "Well, well. It's the little pup that thought you were her friend."

 

She lowers her head. "Punish me any way possible, no special treatments. I want Bryant and Raja..."

 

"And yet you said that this family means nothing to you."

 

"She's more precious to me than mom or anyone else besides Bryant."

 

"And she is a part of this family, which means she is nothing to you."

 

"Then why won't you let me leave?! I've got nothing here."

 

He ignored the howling that came from the bush as he dug his darkness-tipped claws into her skin.

 

She uses all her strength to send light at her father.

 

He blocked it again.

 

She whimpers then lowers her head in defeat. "Fine... I'll forget about Bryant."
She uses trees as guidance to her husband.

 

He let go of her then went to go comfort the wailing pup.

 

She clutches her pain close to her body.
Her mouth moves but nothing comes out.

 

He picked up Raja in one arm and hugged Luana with his other one.

 

She runs to Jenova to understand better.
She can smell his scent and returns it.

 

He nuzzled her head.

 

"Grandma, what did Seph mean papa loves me but hates light?"
Her wings ruffled happily.

 

"He loves you even though the light hurts him."

 

"But that is so unfair! Can't you change so that I'm darkness too?"
She gives a peck on his cheek.

 

"You said you didn't want to live with those who have darkness, so why should I?" He kissed her forehead.

 

"I hate that I am not the same as everyone else."
She giggles silently.
