He wandered off to an empty room. He cradled the wine glass in his hand as he looked down into the remaining blood, making his reflection seem covered in crimson. "Who else would it be?"

 

She follows him. "Why are you being nice to me?"
He punches his fist against the wall.

 

"You have done nothing to deserve my wrath." He started trembling. "You only experienced an ounce of his monstrous personality."

 

"I thought because I'm bearing Cloud's pup..."
He kneels to his eye-level. "No one should be his experiment, my friend."

 

He turned away from him and sat down while shaking.

 

"Come on, want to fly a bit?"
She pushes the door with her nose then walks over to the darkest corner and sleeps.

 

He draped a blanket over her before leaving. He shook his head as he let out a choked sob.

 

"Want to eat some regular food, Seph? It helps when you're sad."
He walks outside of the castle to hunt.

 

He howled in sadness before burying his face in his hands.

 

"Seph, how can I help you? We can do whatever."
He brings back a fawn.

 

"I've been betrayed too many times to make friends."

 

"Oh, I've been betrayed too. The funny thing is I don't feel bothered by it."
He nudges Tala. "Wake up."

She mentally smiles as she eats her meal.

He bumps into someone and it hurts all over. "Sorry." He mumbles.
She helps him. "What are you doing here?" She asks like she never seen him for extremely long time.

 

"You're lucky you didn't have to spend too much time with him like me. I was banging my head against a wall to try to get that bloody book's lines out of my head."

 

"They are fascinating but I got tired for a while."
