He knelt down to Garnet's level. "Why don't you like your new brother, sweetie?"

 

"He smells like Zack had a cooking disaster, he's younger than me, and his attitude."

 

"He hasn't said a word to you yet, so how can you be sure of his attitude?" He showed his baby brother to Mei.

 

"Eavesdropped."
She sniffs then licks his face.
He giggles.

 

"He was hungry, what do you expect?" "This is Mei. Mei, this is Jericho Lorn Crescent."

 

"I wish he's dead or older than me!" She takes her books then runs away.
"That is Shihab and Raja and over there is Ronda."

 

"Well that didn't help any."

 

"Sibling jealousy?"

 

"I guess so."

 

"I'll check on Sephana."

 

"Should we tell her about Jericho yet?"

 

"Rather not."

 

He picked her up and headed to their room.

 

She pouts.

"But we have to find a solution that will fit our children's needs."
