"He isn't doing anything, just sitting there staring at me." He tilts his head from side to side.

 

He puts his daughter to bed.
She yawned.

 

"Are you going to see if you can snap him out of this?"

 

"I'll try again but I'm not sure it will work."

 

"It's worth a shot."

 

He teleports to Seph. "How can I make up for what I done?"

 

He turned his head towards him and burst out in insane laughter. "And so the pauper of lies has come to shove more of his sweet, venomous lies down my gullet!"

 

"Of all times, you are stabbing my heart. Does my death do any justice for you?"

 

"You have already abandoned me, so why do you care?"

 

"It is just a piece of me that won't let go. I want to leave you just like the first time we met."

 

"As though I care about your feelings towards me."

 

"If you were gone... I'd search to the end of this universe. If you are not in my life, I..."

 

"I don't care." He said coldly before heading off to his room.

 

"I failed you." His wings drooped and walks away.

 

She followed after him.

 

He walks to the lab unconsciously.

 

He locked his door behind him and fell back onto the bed.

 

He opens the cabinet and mutters to himself.

 

He sighed softly as he rested his head on Garnet's shoulder.

 

"Is there something wrong papa?"
