Sora's Darkness

"I'm picking up a bit of fear mixed with all those other feelings."

 

Sora injects it quickly but not too hard. He starts to feel slightly dizzy and lies down on his bed.
Tai mentally cooes in comfort to his master.
A green patch grows on his left arm.
"Geostigma!" He exclaims. "That crazy kid injected mako into himself."

 

"This has gone way too far."

 

"What? You guys are saying he will have mako with him for eternity?"
He nods. "It emerges with your body and either you grow stronger or die from it."
He smiles weakly and pets its head. "I'll be fine. You'll know when the time comes."
It tilts its head to a side.

 

"Unless there's someway to siphon the mako out of him, he'll be like that for the rest of his life."

 

"I wouldn't try to resolve it, dark magic would do more damage than taking out mako. What if he does survive from it?"

 

"It could be various possibilities. He could mutate or grow stronger, things like that."

 

He opens a portal. "I see your point. If possible, take out the mako.
He clutches his bed sheets then squeezes his eyes shut.

 

He walks through the portal to where Sora is.

 

He steps after Sephiroth and notice the same green patch where Saxor had his then turns and saw Tai. Cloud reaches out a hand to touch his head.
It saw the hand coming and claws at it.
Quickly, he withdrew his hand as though it was hot. "Looks like we have to go through it."
He follows after Cloud.

 

"Tai, your master could die without our help. You don't want that to happen, do you?"

 

It looks at its master squirming then tossing and turning. It doesn't understand since ideally humans would have quick and painful death. Tai crawls over near Sora then turns to face the three of them and hisses.
He lowers himself so he's the same eye-level as the Heartless. "Once we take care of this, we won't bother you two again."
Again, it hisses threateningly. Knowing that they will come again.
He backs away and turns to face Sephiroth. "Talk about devotion."

 

"Look at him, he's suffering. You don't want your master to go through this, right? Just let us help and we'll take out what's causing him to suffer, then we'll leave."

 

It looks at its master then at them and lowers its head. As though the Heartless let them through.
"We don't have much time, the mako is fusing with him!"

 

He rushed toward Sora and placed his hands above him, then he started to absorb the mako. He gritted his teeth as the process continued.

 

He tosses and turns as Sephiroth absorbs the mako. "Tai..."
It senses the danger in his voice and use itself as a shield then hisses.
He sighs. "We can't do anymore here."

 

"Are you sure about this, Tai? Without our help, Sora could die a horrible, slow, painful death."

 

"For a psychotic teenager," he said as he examines him, "he knew what he was doing. Nothing is devouring his body, only alternating it."
It gestures its head to the door, sternly.
"It doesn't want any more with us."

 

"Let's go then. If it doesn't want our help, then we should just leave." He said while walking towards the door.

 

Silently he agrees and follows after Sephiroth.
Saxor remains still glaring down at him and the Heartless. "Go on ahead. I'll catch up to you two later."
