Sora's Darkness

Axel peered into the vast woods of Halloween Town, "Do I have to search there?" he asked trying to hide a bit of fear in his voice, even though he was a nobody, he was slightly scared of those woods, he had a past experience in them, something that he didn't want anyone to know.

 

He walks ahead of them. Urgently, searching for any clues.

 

"He ran into Christmas Town, so you don't have to search the woods. Just find the door to Christmas Town." He said as he hurried towards the workshop.

 

He stops abruptly when he sees a large door ajar. Saxor pushes it lightly and could hear crying from inside. "Over here."

 

Axel followed Saxor's voice.

 

He quietly walked to where Saxor was.

 

He points to their target sleeping on the cold floor with his back facing towards them. "Is there anything you two have in mind?"

 

"I'll let you choose his punishment."

 

"Something to do with fire?" Axel said hopefully, "But it's better if you choose."

 

"Axel, burn this place up." He said as he turns away from Sora. "Once that happens, release a little bit of Cloud."

 

Axel clicked his fingers, as he did that, a single flame appeared on the ground, a flame that would soon grow and eat away at the area.

 

He walked away from Axel, as he did so he slightly lessened his grip on Cloud.

 

"We are going to make him think Cloud is back and rescues him but we will actually put an illusion and put shackles on his ankles."
He heard everything and decides to play along, for Sora's sake.

 

He nods as he blinked his eyes, which turned navy blue and hid his wings.

 

He wakes up slowly from the heat that surrounds him. Once his eyes are back into focus, he realizes that heat is flames. "Cloud," he calls, "where are you?"

 

He disguised his voice to make it sound like Cloud's voice."Sora, is that you? Help me!"

 

He shields his face using his arms as he draws closer to Cloud's voice. Once he could see him perfectly, he asks, "What's wrong?"

 

Shackles snaked around Sora's ankles and locked themselves into place. He smirked as his eyes turned mako green and his wings spread out from behind his back. "Just dealing with a disobedient pet."

 

He tries to run away but heavy weight carrying his ankles drags with him as he falls down to the floor. Sora turns to face him angrily. "What made Cloud disobey you in the first place?" The defiance in his eyes starts to shine again.
"That is enough Axel."

 

"It was probably our past. Apparently old enemies who are now allies still won't get along."
