Sora's Darkness

He nods as he trusts his word on it then pinpoints to an area they have never been before. Saxor opens the portal. "This place might be your world."

He walked through the portal into a construction site in the middle of a city with citizens busily working. When he walked through they froze and, completely ignoring the injured Cloud cradled in his arms, they bolted screaming variations of 'Sephiroth is back!' He sighs. "This is our world, alright."

 

"okay then... that was odd."

 

"For five years you shook almost the whole planet with fear because of your insanity."
He steps through the portal and looks around. "I never thought this place would be so...lifeless."

 

"That's what five years of destruction and disease does to a place."

 

"Where is this mako cannon?"
"It is at Midgar." He answers. "Sephiroth knows that place better than anyone else. Everything is in ruins from the last time I checked."

 

He picked his way through the ruins while surveying his own handiwork.

 

He made a low whistle as he watches then examines one of Sephiroth's work. "Your Masamune makes this piece of junk to shame." He lifts his head then looks around. "Where is it now?"

 

"What, my Masamune?"

 

"He's talking about the cannon. I can't blame him since everything looks like rubble."

 

*follows them*

 

"I believe that it's to the West."

He heads off towards the direction as Sephiroth instructed. Somehow the air feels haunting that bothers him more than he's used to.

 

He follows after Saxor. "So, you feel it too?"

 

"I can't tell but it is somehow... distrubing."
"Lives that lost during the Meteor incident were unfortunate even though the Planet was saved. Also, Midgar is known to have a lot of mako, more than my hometown."

 

"Not to mention, some Jenova cells may still be lingering in the air."

 

"Let's get this over with. The sooner we leave, the better."

 

He kept moving West, his boots crunching on the rubble.
