Sora's Darkness

He flies slowly and carefully. "This is like flying into air mines, we never know we might take a wrong path."

 

He felt something drawing him towards the crater. "Here. Take this." He handed the orb to Sora. "I have to check something out." He started flying towards the crater.

 

He blinks in confusion as he caught the orb. "Cloud, follow him."
Cloud took off from Jenova and Saxor's side and heads towards Northern Crater.
Sora turns his eyes back to the orb and follow its directions until he stops in front of a glowing dead forest. "That must be it."

 

He could feel the thing that was drawing him getting closer while he flew towards the crater.

 

He, too, feels something drawing him closer to the crater.
He have seen many worlds, but nothing like this. Then he notices a gigantic shell like back at home as he gets closer, he notices the water is... black.

 

He lands and starts looking for it.

 

His body doesn't follow his commands and acts like a predator, searching whatever that draws him here.
Curiosity got the better of him and cups the water then brings it to his lips. His round pupils turns into cat-like slits. Whatever that was, he feels sick and imprisoned by its substance. Sora's body flies off weaving around old branches and heading towards Jenova.

 

He lifted up a charred piece of wood and found what was drawing him there, a tennis ball- sized orb that gleamed darkly. He brought it up to his face and examined it. "Well, who would have known that it would still be here after all this time?"

 

"The Black Materia... even if I try to stop you, it would be absolutely useless."
He notices Sora arriving back then felt a pain in his arm. He looks down and sees a black patch. Saxor pushes that to the back of his mind and greets him. "I never thought I would see you so soon. How was the Forgotten City?"
He turns to face him with expressionless looks on his face then shoves him to the floor then turns to face Jenova and bows in front of her.
"Sephiroth, Sora just came back and he's acting weird. I'll give you two examples, he shoved me to the floor and bows in front of your mother."

 

He sighs. "What do his pupils look like?"

 

He recalls it is nothing he has ever seen before. "Just like Cloud's when he was controlled. Almost like cat's."
He sighs. "We have to take him to Aerith's church. It is the only way to cure him."

 

"The little idiot must have swallowed some Jenova cells. At least I can control him now."

 

"His behavior is freaking me out. It is so unnatural of him."
"Whatever. What are you going to do with that? Same as three years ago?" He asks as he points to the object in his hand.

 

He shrugs. "I wasn't expecting to find it again. I'll just put it in my safe pocket for now." He said as he tossed it into his dark pocket. "If I do summon it again, then nothing can stop it due to the last Cetra and the WEAPONs being dead."

 

He walks out of the crater then flies towards Aerith's church.
He bents his head low to peer into his Somebody's face. "Sora, snap out of it."
He doesn't respond.
Saxor shakes his shoulders. "C'mon, this is not funny."

 

"Sora, go to Aerith's church in Midgar."

 

He got pushed out of the way as Sora's wings spread apart then flies towards Aerith's church.
Cloud lands in front of the entrance then senses a speed unreal and knew it is Sora. 'What is he doing here?'
He stops as he hovers above Cloud's head then lands on the ground.
He cringes as he had seen those eyes in Denzel. "Why did you sent him here?"

 

"You said that the only way to get him cured is by having him go to that church."

 

"That's true, but..." he looks down at him, "there are chances that he's more like you than human. Kadaj had to get away when this water rained on him."

 

He hissed mentally as he remembered the feeling of that wretched water on his skin. It felt like light, burning and corroding.
