He heard what Sephiroth said then made a mental scream. All three of them had to close their ears as much as they could.
"I picked that as a 'no' even though I agree with you he's like an old dog."

He winces as his oversensitive ears heard Sora's mental scream. "Why did he do that?"

 

"No matter how many times Sora denies it, he really cares about him." "Y'know you could use other methods than broadcasting, right?"
He turns his head away. "Sorry." He mumbles.

 

He rolls his purple and green eyes. "Here we go about friendship again. This is starting to make me sick."

 

"I can't help you there even though I do hate humans."
After seeing his assuring look on his face, he moves over to Saxor then lies down on the bed, exhausted.
Saxor raises an eyebrow. "I'll go check on the experiments."

 

"It's rather odd how we both hate humans and yet we work with them."

 

"Strange how it works that way." He agrees.
"Sephiroth, aren't you a little curious what is Sora doing with these mako experiments?" He asks carefully. "He's always thinking the most unsual things."
Cloud feels like he's not wanted and goes to his own room.

 

He growls. "I honestly don't want to know."

 

He gives Saxor a warning.
He nods then continues to look at the progress.
"As long as I'm bound to Sora, I can't have you harm any of them."

 

"It must feel horrible being chained to a mere human."

 

"In a weird way, yeah." He rubs his temples. "I can't stand it!"
He grabs a clipboard then writes down his observations. The Nobody mumbles to himself as he looks at each one of them.

 

"I feel the same way whenever I possess Cloud. There isn't enough room in his body for all the power that I have. It's like trying to wear clothes that are a few sizes too small."

 

He was about to teleport when he heard a small voice calling to his name. "That's not what I mean. He has this radiant light that draws you whether it is light or darkness." Demon King sits on the bed then ruffles his hair. "That's what I can't stand about this human."
"I'm thankful that I didn't inherit the light side or it is the end of me."

 

"It doesn't seem to work on me or Jenova for some reason."

 

He pats on his head twice then teleports to Sephiroth. "Hopefully that will steel both of our nerves."

 

"So, what should we do?"

 

"Whatever you want to do. As long as I'm not in this world, you can do whatever you want." He waves his hand in dismissal. Demon King teleports to his world.

 

He snorts. "As if I'd listen to his orders in the first place." He said to himself.

 

He transforms into his true self then start eating his leftover flesh he left behind.
He calls Demon King over and over. When he didn't get a response, he opens his eyes to look around to see that he isn't present then heads over to Cloud's room.
"What are you doing here?" He wasn't pleased to see him of all people.
"Demon King isn't here." He answers.
