She nuzzles him. "That works."

 

He nuzzles back. "The next one is 'O,' like in my name."

 

"Orochi-sama!"

 

"Okay then. The next one is 'P,' like in purr."

 

"Prey and pounce count too."

 

He nods. "And the next is 'Q,' like queen."

 

"Who in this castle is like a queen to you?"

 

He shook his head. "My head feels funny."

 

She transforms into a human then place her hand on his forehead. "You're warm. Do you want to stop?"

 

"Sure." He said as he put the book away as his tentacles twitched of their own accord.

 

"Do you think you are getting a fever?" She asks as she holds his hand.

 

"I don't know." He looked back at his tentacles. "Huh, they've never done that before."

 

"I wonder if it is because of this." She said as she raise their linked hands.

 

He shook his head. "No, I'm sure it's not that."

 

"Ok then. Tell me how you feel honestly."

 

"My head feels like there's tons of angry wasps inside that want to get out."

 

"Sounds like a headache but I want to check with your dad just to be sure."

 

"It's worse than a headache."

 

She let go of hands then transforms into a wolf and gestures for him to get on.

 

He got on her and held on tight.
