"I've been dealing with that stuff."

 

He snarled sourly and headed off to the library.

 

"Don't bother. I'm immune to every poison."
She follows him.

 

On his way there he picked up his weapon, a bloodred claymore that he could wield with one hand with small wings on the hilt.

 

She stops as fear took over her heart. "Are you..."

 

He leaned his claymore against a wall in the library and pulled a book of weapon enchantments off the shelf.

 

"Orochi?" She asks fearfully.

 

"What is it?" He snapped at her.

 

"You are scaring me... I've never seen you like this."

 

"What do you mean?" He chuckled as he looked at his taloned hands made of hatred that were clutching the book.

 

"I've known you all of my life and you have never been this worked up over a problem." She paws his leg. "What will you accomplish out of this?"

 

"Keeping you safe."

 

"He's the only one I have left. Is this really neccessary?"

 

He slammed his fist on a table. "And you're the only one I have left and I won't let him take you away from me!"

 

She flinches. "I'm sorry, master." Her eyes saddened.

 

He took a deep breath and calmed down. "It's alright. Apparently I have my father's temper and protectiveness."

 

"I can tell." She hops on the table. "Is the only solution is his death? Can't you just do the same thing as our fathers?"

 

"I doubt Malik would just let me stroll up and control him."

 

"What if I control him instead?"

 

"You can do that?"
