Sora's Darkness

"You know he's not going to do that." "So you're Malik's real mother." Ocean said to Luana as she looked up at her.

 

"Yes, I am. I've seen you once." Her wings tighten defensively.
"She's in 'fallen angel' state." He tells everyone except her.
"Then I'll stay with Hades."

 

"It's okay. She's just Mother's friend and pet." He said as he stroked her wings. "Your son has been calling me his mother in your absence."

 

Her wings tighten further. "Please continue like I'm absent." She said sadly. "I'm not worthy to be called mother at all."

 

"Don't say that." She said as she stroked her hair. "At least you got to see your children while they were young and you took care of them during that time."

 

"It is receiving the opposite effect."
"I just want to die!" She said as she cries. "I didn't take care of them, I neglected them!"

 

"If you really feel that way then I suppose my love isn't good enough for you." He said as he handed her into Jenova's arms and turned away from them as his wings and tentacles drooped. "Don't even try to follow me." He teleported far away from them.

 

She flaps her wings high above the gods. "Sun, burn me in its light. I lost everything I love and hold dear."

 

She followed her with her tentacles and forcefully pulled her to the ground and put a cloak on her.

 

"What is there left for me to strive? I lost everything."

 

She put a sphere-like barrier five feet around her that she couldn't get through then teleported after her son.

 

"No! Stay away!" She backs into a corner as she shouts at nothing.
He shoves Mei to Ocean. "My mom's real dad is here."

 

She teleported to Malik with a small child sleeping in her arms. The child had long, mousy brown hair and was wearing a small, yet unmistakable black trenchcoat and pants.

 

"Sephiroth!" She cries in help.
"Who is this?"

 

"Aren't the clothes enough of a clue?"

 

He catches the hint. "But how? Is mom going to raise him?"

 

"I'll tell you later." She said as she put him in his arms. "Right now I have a stubborn soul to take care of." Her tentacles lashed out at where Sora was clearly visible to her as she slithered towards him. He rolled around a little in Malik's arms as he yawned but didn't wake up.

 

"...will be blind." He teleports.
"Mom still loves you no matter how old you are or what you look like."

 

She dispelled the barrier around Luana and led her to Malik and Sephiroth who was still sleeping.

 

She cradles the baby in her arms. "Why is Sephiroth like this?"
