Soul Eater- A Witch's Academy is on the Rise?

Kid stood up and looked over at his fellow team mates "if she escapes she will continue to hunt humans and worse...become a kishin. As students of the DWMA we cannot allow that. Lets go" Kid said trying to ignore the shot he took and jumped into the portal. Little did he know that the scratches on the back of his jacket were not symmetrical

Seth grinned "this are getting interesting" Seth said as he became more pumped up by Kid's speech and the fact that a battle was going to take place "Drake weapon time" Seth said as he stretched out his arm and opened the palm of his hand. Drake followed Seth's order and transformed into a broadsword and Seth grabbed Drake and jumped in after Kid

Stein grabbed one of his knives he used to dissect and picked the locks of the cage that the children were in. Once he finished he looked over at the students "I am a Meister of the DWMA. My job is to keep everybody safe. Stay close to me and I will bring you back home" Stein said. He had to try as hard as he could to try and get these kids not to be afraid of him

 

Aspera chuckled at Yuki's enthusiasm. She could feel his excitement as he gripped her. "I'm a rapier, a sword specialized in thrusts. Not really much else. Haha." she laughed nervously, now more acutely aware of such a dangerous shortcoming. But on the bright side, it seemed that the two of them suited each other nicely, and this she was happy about. "No worries. I'm sure you'll get the hang of me soon enough."

Nox felt the students go through the portal. Any moment now. Prepare yourself. She reloaded her gun just before the expected moment that the students would step out of the portal. Nox readied herself behind the booth, prepared to get up and shoot before fleeing, since Seth and Drake were most likely going to do an offensive attack.

 

Yuki chuckled. "Cool," he replied. He swished Aspera around a few more times, thrusted a few times, and swung a few times. "I think I'm kinda used to you, in a way," Yuki said. "You can transform back now. Also, you're right. Thrusting is easier with you!"

 

Aspera transformed back into her human form, her hand still holding Yuki's. "I understand that." she said to him. Then she let go and sat back down, waiting for whatever came next in orientation besides registration. Oh wait....shouldn't we tell a teacher that we're partners now? I suppose that can come at another time. All of them look fairly busy with the other students. she thought.

 

Yuki sat back down next to Aspera. "It's pretty lucky that I found you," Yuki said sweetly. He didn't like her like that but liked her as a really close friend....maybe even like a mother. He trailed off into thought about what his first mission would be like, what the rest of the orientation would be like, when classes would start, and things of the sort. Yuki let out a long sigh; he hadn't been at the DWMA very long but he already felt kinda tired. He was about to take a quick nap but stopped himself, remembering that Aspera was still there. His eyes were feeling heavier and heavier.

 

Aspera sat patiently, waiting for the next announcement. She was staring into space when she glanced at Yuki and noted that he looked tired. "You can go to sleep if you want. If there's any important news, I'll fill you in when you wake up." she said smiling a knowing smile. All the excitement can make one tired when there's some downtime. Plus, nothing was really happening now anyway.

 

Yuki had a gentle, heart-warming smile as his eyes finally closed. His head hit the wall softly with a thud!. His breathing slowed, his body adjusting to the relaxing state. Yuki was dreaming of a calming place.

~Yuki's Dream~
OOC: Note- Yuki will be dreaming of his past and no one will have to participate in his dream. If you want to, then Yuki will interact with you in his dream. There will be no fighting, just talking and what not.

BIC: Yuki looked around at the scenery. The forest was painted orange, yellow, red, and brown with leaves. It was Fall. Yuki walked around peacefully, the leaves crunching under his feet. He was alone and didn't like it. He never liked being alone, ever since he was a child. Yuki let out a sad sigh and sat by a tree. He was upset and it was affecting his dream. The trees started to wither and turn gray as Yuki covered his eyes, hoping someone would come. Yuki turned back into a child, wearing the same clothes. This was exactly what happened when he was a kid. He was crying, tears gracefully falling from his face.

OOC: Sorry guys! My work schedule sucked this weekend. >< And then there's school and blahblahblah. I'm posting now! (Oh, and I love your Black☆Star posts, Maka!)

BIC: Soul looked down to the girl who'd spoken to him. "Yeah, we'll get you out of here." His teeth flashed in the moonlight. His words were confident, but he didn't really see a way out. Unless they literally busted themselves out of the place, they were as stuck as the children.

Kirby hit the ground with a thud; the tongue slid off his wrists, leaving open wounds. His right arm changed from blade to human arm and he pushed himself to his feet. He figured the stars he was seeing were just from hitting the ground so hard. From Black☆Star's words, Kirby clearly had a lot to learn.
"You're insane, you know that?" Kirby stared at Black☆Star. Unexpectedly, he smiled at Black☆Star, and then hurried off to Merlie.

"What were you thinking?" Merlie took Kirby's hand and rushed with him to find cover. "Don't you know anything about what we're doing? We have to stick together."

"I know; sorry," Kirby ducked behind a still-standing game booth with Merlie. "I just... didn't want to lose you."

Merlie understood that she was practically all Kirby had. But that was still no reaosn to go throwing himself at a demon plant. Sighing, Merlie shook her head. "We're damn lucky Black☆Star is here."

OOC: My brain has no idea what to do with Colt or Spirit. So that's all for now!

 

Lea followed after Kid and Seth, keeping Fay in her weapon form in a tight grip. She wasn't sure how powerful Nox was since she had barely arrived, but she had a feeling she must have given Kid and Seth a hard time. Those portals are how she gets around. Lea's eyes narrowed as she tried thinking on how it would be possible to beat Nox. I wonder if there's a possibility to use those portals as an advantage to us.

Medusa sat quietly in one of the builds in the amusement park, using her Soul Protect to remain unknown to anyone that she was in the city. The tail of her outfit was stuck onto the ground as her legs were crossed and her hands rested on her legs. Her hood covered her eyes as those yellow orbs scanned the area. Lets see how everything goes when they get here. Medusa's eyes momentarily closed before opening to see one of her snakes slide its way in front of her. Her eyes narrowed as she heard Louis' voice coming from the snake. "Lets just wait a little longer and see how long they last. I'll eventually show myself when they're all in the amusement park."

Seeing that no one heard her, Zoey let go of the child and etched against the wall to a standing position. Her legs were wobbly underneath her as she leaned against the wall, but she wasn't complaining about her weakness to anyone around her. "Alright... any bright ideas how we get out?"

"The same way we came in?" Koji asked as he forced himself to stand up as well.

"Maybe..." Maka made her way back over to the rotating wall and put a hand on it. There was nothing on the other side of the door, so maybe just a shove would open it? Maka pushed on it with her hand, but it didn't budge. She then used both of her hands to push harder on the door, but it barely moved. Getting frustrated, Maka slammed her shoulder into the wall and then made it rotate a little so that there was a small opening. Maka poked her head out in the opening and saw that there was rubble in front of the door from the explosion. "Alright... Let's go."

The other kids in the cage had awaken by now and slowly stood up in the cage when they saw that this strange man was going to take them out of this place. One by one they walked out, looking up at Stien and waiting for him to lead them out. They were filthy and tired looking, like they've been through a lot.

Black☆Star kept Tsubaki in Ninja sword mode, just in case something happened. He wasn't going to switch to his favorite weapon just yet. Suddenly, vines shot out towards him, but he quickly sliced at them as they came at him. His duty was to protect the new students, and to also show what a great fighter he was. Black☆Star saw an opening in the vines and then charged forward as the vines whipped around him.

Grendel looked over at Terra, watching her as she walked. He then forced himself to walk forward, catching up to his partner as they approached the park. "Hey... maybe after this... we can go to a real amusement park." Grendel looked to the side, embarrassed by his comforting words. But he didn't like to see Terra sad since she always found a way to keep him happy in his misery. He kind of wanted to return the favor, but he didn't know how to go about doing it. He never had friends before, so Terra was the first one.

Sekira quietly walked behind Terra and Grendel, not paying much attention to their conversation. She was hungry... spiritually hungry. She didn't get one single soul in the cave because she was so focused on recruiting Colt. She knew there would be other times to collect souls. Now was the time... However. She heard something within the amusement park. It almost sounded like... a fight.

 

Angel had an increasingly bad feeling about going into the amusement park. She felt as if a dark pressure was pushing on her as she got closer to the entrance with everyone else. She noticed that no one else seemed to be feeling the same thing as her and brushed it off as nerves since it is their first mission. She tried to spot Sekira and wondered if they were still "cool" despite the incident back at the cave. As she approached her, she noticed something was different. Sekira looked about as stoic as a statue, but...it felt as if she was dissatisfied. Somehow. "Did you know? I saved the souls I...I killed. Back at the cave. For you. Did you get a chance to take them?" Angel asked her. It would be a waste if she hadn't. Still, it's the thought that counts, right?

 

Stein kept a close eye on the kids and began to lead them out "stay close. If you must then grab onto my lab coat so you don't get lost" Stein instructed to the kids that followed along side him while keeping an eye out for anybody else


As the three Meisters arrived at the amusement park Seth stepped forward and looked around "she couldn't have gotten far." Seth said as he raised his sword off his shoulder and held it infront of him

Death the Kid stood behind Seth holding his twin guns in hand. Like Seth he was observing the ruined amusement part "I remember this place" Kid muttered as he recalled coming here one before. "keep a close eye. A gun like user can kill us without us knowing" Kid told his squad

 

As soon as all three meisters arrived at the park, the portal behind them closed. Nox counted to two in her head and immediately afterwards, got up and unloaded a majority of her clip in the general direction of the meisters. After that, she created a portal behind her leading to a roller coaster. Jumping back into it, she did a small flip using her hand to land on her feet, facing the portal. She closed both portals after going through them and began to reload her gun once more. Ah. After this one, I only have one more. I suppose this would be a good time to reload on ammo as well. Concentrating hard on the image of her ammunition storage, she created a small portal right next to it. A second portal appeared by her side as Nox reached her hand in and grabbed a few clips before retracting her arm and closing both portals when she was done. This is really useful. And I'm really getting the hang of this. Plus, I'm being really careful with the portals.

Terra smiled at Grendel. She couldn't ask for a better first friend or just a friend in general. "I'd love to-" She was cut off when she heard the sound of fighting near by and seeing everyone perpare to battle. She quickly turned into her weapon form and landed on Grendel. They needed to be ready for anything. Her visage appeared on the claws' blade. "I heard something. Are you ready for another battle?"

Beyond walked into the amusement park without waiting for the others. He was ready for some real fun.

 

"Nice job, Maka," Soul followed his partner's lead, a couple kids trailing behind him. At least they were outside; now they had to find Stein and figure out what to do with the kids.

Kirby ran his wrist across his forehead; he was starting to feel dizzy. He looked down at his arms and saw the dark purple-green liquid had gotten into the cuts from the tongue and vines. His stomach knotted. He'd only seen one kind of poison -- back when he was in a gang -- and it hadn't been pretty. "Merlie... have you read any books on poison?"

Merlie's eyes went from Black☆Star to Kirby. He looked pale. "Poison? Kirby, you don't -- oh no." She took hold of his shoulders as he began to sway. "No. Kirby, cut it out. We have to stick together!" She repeated, with a different meaning this time.

Kirby's head lolled from side to side, his breathing rapid. "It's okay. I'm okay."

"You're not okay," Merlie countered. Her brain scrambled for something to do. What kind of poison was it? How was she supposed to counteract it? "Just keep your eyes open, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah," Kirby mumbled, leaning against the game booth as Merlie let go of his shoulders. He stared at the sky drifting in and out of focus. It was a weird feeling; his heart was racing but everything seemed to be moving in slow motion around him. Merlie's words became mumbled, like he was listening from under water.

"Sounds like someone's already here," Colt spoke up. He too heard the noise of commotion coming from inside the amusement park. And he had a feeling he knew who it was.

 

Bunny just noticed Spirit in detail, almost pointing at him with her Dagger Hands. "I remember you! Chupa Cabra!(I think) I was the singer there! Last week, you requesting some weird song you made up for your daughter... Maka, right?" She furrowed her eyes, unable to really remember it. "I didn't think you were a teacher." she seemed a bit annoyed to that.
ooc: sadly, Spirit is that odd xD

 

Seth immediately raised his sword and tried to cover his body from the bullets that headed to him and his team. Seth cringed in pain as a few bullets managed to hit his shoulder and his left arm. He fell to one knee and held his arm panting as he tried to hold back the pain

"Seth" Kid yelled as he dodged the bullets and witnessed Seth getting hit. His gaze immediately glanced over at the Nox and immediately fired his twin guns at Nox hoping for the bullets to at least get into the portal and follow her. Unsure if the bullets did their task, Kid ran over to Seth "are you okay?" Kid asked

"I'm fine, I've been threw a lot worse" Seth said trying to reassure his team and got up. "she could have fled by now" Seth said

"that's not her intention. It must be a momentary withdrawal. With those portals of hers she could have fled by now if she wanted to. She wants to fight us" Kid said explaining his hypothesis

 

Maka followed after Zoey and Koji stepped out and the rest of the kids. She surveyed the dim room one last time to see if they left anyone behind or not. Seeing that it wasn't so, Maka then stepped out over the rubble and followed behind the group.

A little girl and a little boy did what Stien suggested them to do, and grabbed onto his lab coat as he led them out. The other children held hands and followed after Stien, being careful to not be left behind.

Black☆Star looked over his shoulder, just in time to see Kirby fall into Merlie's arms. His eyes widened and then he thought, 'Something's not right here.' Black☆Star was suddenly cut by the plant across his cheek, reminding him that he wasn't finished yet. "D**n it!" Black☆Star jumped back, avoiding the plant's blows. "It's time to end this!" Black☆Star raised up his sword and then charged straight for the plant, giving out a battle cry. Then he preformed his special defense ability where he disappeared and appeared again, flickering in a different area. The plant was confused, and then Black☆Star found an opening. He rushed into the vines and then sliced right through the middle of it. Purple liquid exploded every where, and the plant writhed as it's life was about to end. Some of the purple liquid hit Black☆Star's cut, and he winced sightly as it burned. And then... it was over.

Black☆Star flicked Tsubaki, making the excess purple liquid fall to the ground. "Gees that was messy." Black☆Star then turned to the other two and ran over to them. "What happened?"

OOC: Yush... as you can see... I don't feel comfortable swearing. >< Don't hurt me...

"Another battle..." Grendel sighed out warily. He was a little tired of this, trying to keep himself contained. What he did at the cave was nothing compared to what else he could do. He never liked reaching those scary stages, but sometimes it had to be helped. "Ready or not... here I go," the wolf boy said absent mindlessly as he shuffled forward to follow after Beyond. He stepped through the gate and stopped just outside of it just long enough to sniff the air. He could smell humans... all kinds of humans. Mostly the very young. That made Grendel cringe inwardly, but he didn't want to show his weakness.

"No..." Sekira said quietly as she walked. "Beyond took the left overs as soon as you stepped out. But it's alright. I can be a bit behind. Thank you though..." It was Sekira's turn to step through the gate, and she did so without really looking around. She could already hear that there was a conflict, so maybe someone unwanted already beat them here. 'The DWMA...?'

 

Nox quickly dropped to the ground as two bullets whizzed through the portal before it closed. They must've gotten stuck in space and had a small delay before coming out from the nearest wormhole, that being the portal Nox used to get more clips. After the portal closed, Nox stood up and checked herself for any injuries. She found a minor cut on her arm from the close call with the bullets. Hm. Overconfidence kills.
