Soul Eater- A Witch's Academy is on the Rise?

Stein closed his eyes as he stood ahead of the group and took off his glasses "now I want you to go catch up with Black*Star and the others" Stein said and put his glasses in the pocket of his coat. "I will go deal with the witch" Stein said to the group as suddenly a creepy smile was on his face I dissect her...dissect her good Stein thought to himself

 

Bunny ran into the auditorium, looking around to see students staring at her. No one seemed scared or nervous.

Fae ran up to Spirit and Bunny, huffing. " I heard there was a witch from he restroom! What's going on?!" She tried to cover it up.

 

Maka looked over at Soul when he touched her shoulder, and saw that he was giving her a small smile. She couldn't help but to sigh and smile back. Stien could handle it, she knew that he could. But she still felt angry about it all. 'Why is she back...?' Feeling a hand tug on her shirt, Maka looked looked down to see a little boy looking back up at her. She couldn't help but to feel a soft spot for the little guy and she reached down and picked him up so his legs rested around her on her right hip. "Alright, we're here to get these kids home. Let's do it."

Koji smiled, then looked towards the entrance of the Funhouse. It sounded like kids were outside... He heard someone get punched and then saw shadows move on the ground. He picked them out quickly. Without thinking, Koji rushed outside without waiting for the others. He heard Zoey call out for his name, but he was too focused on other things at the moment.

Black☆Star didn't see it coming when Kirby was suddenly punched. He just moved back to catch Kirby and then held him up. "Come on, stay with us!" But then Kirby's weight started to feel much heavier. He knew that Kirby had just went unconcious. "Crud..." He looked up at the gang member, was about to say something to him, when a shadow went in front of him and attempted to punch Colt in the face.

Koji was right there, ready to defend the others as he threw his fist straight toward the gang member.

 

"Hey!" Soul shouted after Koji. Hadn't the kid learned anything about running off on your own yet?

Colt spun and caught Koji's fist. "Oh? Who are you?" He twisted Koji's wrist. "You one of Kirby's new lackeys?"

Merlie's heart skipped a beat when Kirby was hit. She saw that Black☆Star was holding Kirby and that Koji was with them. Colt's attention was on Koji. Angry at what Colt had done, she ran at him. Before Colt could react, Merlie socked him right in the stomach.

Colt let go of Koji and stumbled back a couple of steps. "Damn... Good punch for a girl."

"I don't care who you are or how you know my partner," Merlie began in a low voice, her eyes even with Colt's, standing next to Koji. "But I won't let you touch him again!"

"Aw, that's cute," Colt said sarcastically.

"Nothing for you to worry about," Spirit replied to Fae quickly, his eyes scanning the students for the bird that had gotten away from him.

 

Far seemed to relax in her gaze, but was still keeping up a mock guard.
Bunny watched the girl, confused. She sighed, but came to Sid anyway. " Excuse me sir, but I missed orientation before. Do you have my schedule? I'm Amelia Lashe."

 

"Merlie!" Tsubaki looked over to Kirby breifly then back at Merlie. "If you care for Kirby then get him out of here. With him being out cold.... He needs help. We can take care of this." She started speaking with a serious expression but ended her setence with a reassuring smile. They were more expirenced than Merlie, who was now without a partner, so it was best for them to take care of this.


Beyond laughed while watching Colt rage. Emotions were so fun to watch, especially these kinds. He was slightly off to the side now, circling around the group of DWMA students until he was behind them. "Fighting that kid seems no fun... Let me kill the blue haired one..." Beyond spoke while chuckling. This is going to be so much fun~

 

Maka growled out in frustration and then looked back at the other little ones that were behind her. "Everyone hold hands and stay close to us, okay? Don't wander off." Maka adjusted the little boy on her hip and then proceeded to move outside. They couldn't stay in the funhouse, who knew what was lurking there anyways. She walked along Zoey, helping her along without saying much and then stepped out into the moonlight with the group of kids. Then she noticed what was going on and her eyes darkened over. "What are we going to do, Soul? We can't leave the kids all by themselves... by they look threating..."

Koji glared at Colt and stepped back to stand by Merlie and the others. "I'm standing by her on this one," Koji growled under his breath as he kept his eyes on Colt.

Black☆Star kept quiet, keeping his guard up this time as he watched the others that were lurking behind this guy. He just seemed like a punk easy to handle. The others though... they looked more menacing. They were just standing there, not doing anything though. That bothered him a lot. "Tsubaki... get ready," he said quietly to his partner. His eyes widen when he realized that someone was standing behind them and turned to look to see that the creepy guy was there. This was starting to not look good at all...

Zoey stood back with Maka and Soul, using her Soul Sight to scout out the souls that were in front of her. She could even see their souls... Some of them looked threatening and menacing, others she couldn't tell what they were exactly. "I would watch out for the boy that's standing behind them..." Zoey said quietly to the two of them. Then another soul drift across Zoey's vision, and she turned her head to look.

Grendel came to investigate the noise, wondering where everyone was at. When he found them, he just stood there and watched them all. They seemed much older than him, and stronger too. But as it was said once before, looks are decieving. He stood there with Terra on his hands, not knowing if he should advance forward or not. His wolf ears laid back to show that he was confused and apprehensive.

 

Tsubaki couldn't wait for a reply, the enemies didn't seem in the least bit friendly and even worse they were on either side now. She transformed into her kusarigama form and landed in Black Star's hands. "I shouldn't have to tell you this, but please be careful. I got a bad feeling about this group. Tsubaki's visage on the blade said.

"We should stand back and just watch as things unfold..." Terra suggested in a quiet voice. This seemed like a gaint explosion waiting to happen.

Beyond smelled the souls of others arriving on the scene and looked over to them with a curious expression. His smile returned to see even more of the students coming towards them. And childern as well. "Young blood... It must be so tastey... I want some of it... I want all of it." He corrected himself with a twisted smile and licked his lips.

 

Soul grit his teeth. It was getting too complex now. How were they supposed to handle all this at once. He ran different plans through his head, trying to decide which one would work best. "Maka, you and I should join Black☆Star and Tsubaki. Merlie should take Kirby and the kids out of here with Koji and Zoey." His stomach was starting to knot; these new creepy kids reminded him too much of his own inner demon. But he was solid in his resolve.

Still angry, Merlie knew Tsubaki was right. She didn't stand a chance in a real fight against this group. Through clenched teeth she agreed with Soul's plan. "Koji, we can't do this. Let the others handle it; we'll get the kids out safely." She was grateful that he was willing to support her and Kirby and she made a note to thank him for it later.

Colt watched Merlie; something about her was just sassy enough for him. If he ever went back to the streets, she'd make a good addition to his crew.

 

Stein had parted from the group of students and began to head straight towards the area Medusa but suddenly stopped running. a group of souls are heading towards the same area...wait how did they get here? Stein thought to himself as he looked over at a group heading towards him

"is that? Professor Stein?" Seth said pointed out to the group as stopped running with the group and looked over at his professor thats right him and the others were sent on a mission at some amusement park. This must be it...talk about luck Seth thought to himself

As Stein watched the three Meisters heading towards him he found it quiet odd that they were here "how did you get here?" Stein asked

"our target has the power to create portals, she used that power to escape here. We lost track of her and we began tracking the witch" Kid explained to his professor.

Stein nodded to show he understood the situation and looked over at the three of them "Kid I would like for you to come with me to deal with the witch. Seth and Lea will join up with Maka and others. they are going to need as much help as they can" Stein said. With Seth injured and Lea being new to the academy his best choice was to bring Kid along. Without Spirit, Marie or any weapon for that matter he need more help if he was going to deal with Medusa

more help? could it be that crazy lady? or maybe some of the witches lackeys Seth thought to himself and crossed his arms "alright then" Seth said to his professor

 

Angel moved up and readied her sword against Merlie. "Don't think so," she said mechanically. Her dark brown eyes still looked glazed over as she decided that it was probably best that they don't let a meister and her weapon leave with a bunch of children in tow right in front of their eyes. That would be a great humiliation to show to Medusa and Angel can't stand failing her. Medusa had saved her, and this was the least she could do for her. Her right arm twitched as another shiver of insanity ran through her. What? But I stopped resisting it, and since then, I felt such power surging through me...could it only be temporary? Angel winced as she got shocked a little more painfully by the wavelength. However, that last thought was her last sane thought as now it was replaced by a deep craving for drawing blood and hearing screams of pain. She smiled at Merlie and asked pleasantly,"Where's your weapon? How are you supposed to defend yourself? And how exactly do you think you're going to get to those kids safely and lead them out of this place, without a single fatality when we're blocking the entrance? Hmm?" This was how she would reap more souls for Sekira.

 

Maka set the boy down, about ready to jump into action when suddenly Merlie was threatened. Maka clenched her fist, not knowing if she should move or not yet.

(Sorry for the bit of powerplaying, this is only a rare occasion. Don't kill me. ><) Suddenly, Black☆Star flickered behind Angel and shoved her away from Merlie with all his might, using Tsubaki to help him out to make more of an impact. Seeing that Merlie was out of harm's way, he pushed Kirby in her arms and then nudged her towards the kids. "Get going!"

OOC: Sorry guys, writer's block. And I haven't been doing too well with things. *Bows* Please forgive me.

 

OOC: Forgiveness not needed. I'm swamped with stuff too. Finals coming up and a trip to the Utah Theater Conference next weekend (20, 21, and 22) for college auditions and bunch of other stuff. Not to mention work and other pre-finals tests. We all just have to be patient with one another for a bit longer. =]

BIC: Merlie caught Kirby's weight, thankful for Black☆Star's help. Angel had had her stricken with fear -- moreso than the clowns. While she naturally wanted to stay and help, she knew -- and had it hammered in by Angel -- that there was nothing she could do. So she nodded to Black☆Star and hurried over to the kids with Kirby on her back like a backpack.

"Maka," Soul, encased by a blue-white light, transformed into a scythe and spun to Maka's hands. "Don't mess this up."

 

Angel was so focused on Merlie, she hadn't quite noticed Black Star until he had shoved her. However, Angel recovered quickly and channeled some of her insane wavelength into her sword as she unleashed a small vertical sword slash at him. "Shouldn't you, yourself be busy with more important things? Such as defending yourself against others more capable and powerful? This one has already been lost." she said gravely as she turned to look at Merlie once more before unleashing another more powerful slash after charging her sword with more of her insane soul wavelength for a few moments aiming at Merlie and Kirby vertically and possibly some collateral damage of children and metal. To be sure that the two would be hit, Angel unleashed another one in a horizontal slash.

 

ooc - no need to apologize, we all understand. I hope things get better for you soon.

Tsubaki watched as Merlie and Kirby got away. That was one less thing to worry about.


Beyond turned his head to wittness the escape of two of the DWMA students. He could of chased after them, but there was no doubt that the ones here would stop him. Plus there was no real need to do so; though it seemed as if Angel thought otherwise. "You all seem rather tired and worn out... This is going to be too easy."

 

Maka grabbed Soul's handle and spun him around a few times. Then she saw the attack Angel sent towards the kids and jumped into action. With a battle cry, she sliced through the first attack and then spun around to counterattack the second one. "Koji! Get going with the others!"

Koji ran toward the kids, getting them to get a move on before they got attacked anymore by the other people. "Let's go, let's go!"

Black☆Star took a stance, ready to go. "Ha! Tired! We're just getting warmed up."

 

Angel grinned as she saw that this probably wouldn't be as simple as she thought it'd be. "My, my, my...we've got a worthy one here. Unlike that other girl and her out partner," she chuckled. "Tell me, are partners really necessary? If the meister is powerful enough, a demon weapon shouldn't be a necessity for battle. Are they of any use, truly? Why don't you enlighten me on the subject?" Angel taunted Maka. She readied her weapon, charging her sword with her insane wavelength making it have a red shroud crackling with red insanity like electricity. Angel bent down and released another horizontal slash along the ground, trying to raise up dust to use as a smokescreen as she got closer. She didn't really want to fight Maka and Soul, rather she wanted to continue after Merlie and Kirby specifically. Angel didn't know what to do about the children, and just decided they'd be like the structures around them. In the background for now as although a great majority of her was now under the influence of insanity, there was still a part of her core that still believed that children should not be harmed, but protected.

 

"Come on," Merlie urged the kids to follow her. She must not have looked like someone to trust, what with having Kirby on her back and blood on her arms and torso. One child came to her side and tugged her sleeve, wanting to hold her hand. She adjusted Kirby's weight so she could hold him with one arm and free the other to comfort the child. Koji being with her was comforting to her; she didn't want to do this alone.

"We don't need to see her," Soul's visage appeared on the blade of the scythe. "Don't get confused."

 

Strange how they think she's automatically safe. She's gone nowhere with those kids so far. Why are they so confident that nothing terrible will happen to them? So confident that they're the heroes of this story? Angel scoffed as she rushed through the dust past Maka. "I don't think so! You bunch of fakers!" she cried out as she turned and struck Maka's right side with her blade. She completed her turn and continued forward towards Merlie, Koji, Kirby, the kids and possibly Zoey. "Don't think you're safe right now. You should never let your guard down," Angel stated as she unleashed another wavelength charged slash at the group.

 

As if on cue, Seth immediately jumped off of the funhouse rooftop he stood on and landed infront of Merlie's group. Tightening his grip on Drake's handle he raised his huge broadsword over his shoulder and slashed the attack away. Seth calmly rested Drake on his shoulder and looked at Angel
